MazFest - 2005: Buttonwillow Track Time

I'd be interested in an emanage/piggyback tuning clinic for the 8. If racing beat is there, I'd like to hear about how their ECU project is going.
also maybe a clinic on suspension tuning if that has enough appeal.

Well I swear I lost half my tread on my first track day at Calf. Speedway.
Ah......... Rotors can wear out if you push it hard. They'll warp.
The new 05's have bigger rotors up front.

unfortunately I had to cancel my spot for a family gathering (other family) so maybe one of you guys will get moved up.
Bern, will there be another MazFest next year? Possibly around or after memorial day?

Yes sir... that's about right. We wanted to show a little appreciation for those that shelled out the bigger $$
We really wanted to pay for everyone, but the money we received from Heritage Mazda, was just enough to cover the track group.

Guys, if you have an option to go on the track, go! Its a nothing deal and lots of fun. I was just there last week (the only RX8). If you drive carefully, you can have lots of fun (and get passed alot -- who cares). Put air in your tires -- start at over 40 -- stock breaks should work if you have pads left (redstuff ceramics work great front and rear though) fun fun... great track!!
