noon is fine, parking permits are less than $7 per car

 

Just checked, parking passes are $5 per vehicle.

 

What time are we meeting? I may have to do something Saturday morning.

parking pass...we have just driven up their in the past, parked and then driven back down? I have actualy never bought a foresty pass when i go to the mountains. I know of a great spot to park before we go up but KK needs to make sure it is not chained off. The old gorcery store att eh top of eculid unless you have something else planned?

@lesper - the albertsons parking lot is closed.

@lesper II - if we just park, and stay besides the cars we wont have to buy a pass, but if we want to walk to the waterfall, its better to have the pass displayed, its only $5

only noobs go to the forest station for an adventure pass, its all about the lil old ladies house by ice house canyon ftw.

razz, you've expressed some good interest in this meet, are you coming?

 

not sure if i can make it anymore. my car was having difficulty starting up this morning and the CEL came up. i think i might just take the weekend to get my car fixed instead.

 

I can bring my OBD scanner.


on a side note, how long of a drive is it from LAX. I'm not sure that I'm going to get everything done tomorrow morning before 11. (provided it's only a hour away)

 

the starbucks is about 40 mins away from LAX

 

all you need to do is get to the starbucks, from there you can carpool w/ me

 

i already called my dad to help me get it fixed for tomorrow. if he shows up is another story...

hey, i didn't flake out on purpose!!! i have car issues going on right now that have thus prevented me from going!!! if it weren't for this, i'd be down for tomorrow still!

Hopefully I can finish up what I'm doing and leave within an hour.

look up mt baldy ski resort...we are basically going there. up padua street and then mt baldy road off the 210 in upland.

 

rotary, its hard for me to tell you exactly where we will be at a certain time, and there is no cell phone service up there, so we'd have to meet at a certain place at a certain time, and there is nothing i can reference you to... the best i can do is the fork in the road, and even that thats 20 mins down from where we will be. if you leave the LAX area at 1pm, you'll get there around 2pm

if we wait till 2pm at the fork, we'll hit mad traffic on the way back down

all this would have been avoided if you would have been able to meet at the starbucks :/

from the looks of things we'll be leaving starbucks around 12:30, if you can make it there by then, see you, if not... im sorry :/
