Hey guys
Who can make it to a meet this thursday, 8/19/04? I live on the Southeast side of Vegas, but we can meet up anywhere. Anybody up for it?

 

Man I have weird days off. I have to check every week.

 

i know, one week i get a monday and thursday off, next wednesday and sunday. what side of town do you live?

 

Can't wait to see more 8's...moving to vegas in late Sep. Currently in Montana. not many 8's here. just seen two different ones but never saw them again. ...any of you vegas guys do SCCA solo 2 down there?

definently dude, is hard to meet people here. everyone seems to be jockin my 8. everyone wants to race, sofar i haven't lost hehe. let me know when there's a meet, i'll be there. we need to organize one big meet.

 

Hey I have an 8 too and I live in Vegas! Also I hang out with Vegas Mazdas whenever they have meets. They're really cool people! Whenever you want to hang out im off on the weekends so hit me up!

 

okay guys, THIS ******* thursday we have to get together for a meet. get as many people together as possible. anytime in the day, better be in the day time. who's in???

 

If its anytime Thursday then I cant make it. I have work then school afterwards.. If you guys hang out on the weekends then consider me there.

 

what school u go to? where do u hang out? i got school monday thru thursday, and i basically work all week.

 

not triing to be a stalker....but where , generally do y'all live, and where is the best worst and the definitely avoid place to live. I need to be pretty close to the Airport. McCarren (not sure of spelling)


Anyway remember i am moving there very soon. any tips would be great to include where the Mazda dealers are at ..i got two Mazdas so i will be visiting the dealer often,

 

i'm on the southeast side of town. if you need to be near the airport, get a place in henderson, somewhere on sunset rd area. henderson is generally a nice area. DO NOT, i repeat, DO NOT move to north las vegas, unless you don't wanna keep your car.

On another note, the dealers in vegas are ****** dude. All the Mazda dealership are owned under one company, the courtesy dealership in henderson, courtesy on sahara, and people's mazda. they will rip you off. when i bought my car here, i was there arguing and yelling with them for 2 HOURS. I was driving off with my old car, they were chasing me down the road, LITERALLY.

 

wow what about getting your 8 serviced

 

i'm still looking for a good shop in town, most places here are rip offs. a lot of places like universal sound, they don't want you to have a better car then them, so they will do lame *** work. i've only had to do an oil change sofar, and i went to this place near my house. we have three cars in the household, and they have serviced us for the last four years, we never had any problems, the people know what they are doing and their customer service is excellent.

I'm gonna start this Monday and will be attending Le Cordon Bleu. I hang out wherever. Name a place and I'm there. I live in the NW part of town.. Cheyenne and 215.

 

i go to school a few times up on 15 and cheyenne. i gotta scan some pics soon, my dig cam has been broken for a while, i gotta use the one at work. but don't worry guys, it's comin soon. how about the first week of september?

ok I am down for any meet any day anytime everyone from vegas mazdas knows this lol.

if its during a weekday I wont be able to make it till after 5, weekends anytime.

A few members and I from vegasmazdas were trying to plan a cruise up Mt. charleston this weekend but matt decided to do a site re-design and it has been down for a while now so I dont know if this will happen but let everyone know vegasmazdas is a great group of people very nice and welcoming and yes the club is free and doesnt require you to do or have anything to join.

I live on the southwest side of town right near flamingo and 215 so I can meet anywhere basically.

 

LOL Tim you dont remember me? Im the dude with the Titanium Grey RX8. I went to the bbq meet at the Lone Mountain park.. me and you were the first ones there. Then it stormed and we all left.

 

guys we still don't have a set date. i just got off work, and we had inventory, there were over 100 cars, and everyone kept looking at my rx-8. HAHA!!!

I hope you guys have a good time and wanna do another one in about 30 days (when i get there) what do you guys do at "meets" anyway? Well after i get a place to live and that sort of thing we can go to the SCCA solo2 races. I do that here and plan to continue in LV. anyway just very excited about the move...can't wait. but i guess i have to.
