So, I went to my 2nd trackday this last weekend with NASA and there were no RX-8s to be seen. I only saw one other RX-8 on my first track day back in September and he was not a member of RX8Club.

Do you guys run with different organizations? Where are you?

 

I go with TEAM Racing, Golden Gate Lotus Club, Hooked On Driving and Speedventures. I've been doing track days for ~7 years and can't remember seeing more than one or two RX8s at any one event. HPDEs just aren't popular with the RX8 crowd.

 

Once I get a few more track days next year with NASA, I'll look into these other organizations. With the lack of response, you are very right that it's not popular.

Every time I go, I can't believe how fast the RX-8 actually is on a racetrack.

I sometimes go but I have been busy with work lately.

 

barotary.com used to do track days all the time, but it died off as it seems there aren't enough rotary track people around anymore.
