It's a Socal7 one.. but 8s do show up. Usually to the Tustin meet, more 8s than 7s now. But the 7 guys are pretty cool too.

yah, the events out in the San Bernardino area are a mixture of 7's and 8's as well. Makes for a good group...gives you a sense of family/heritage. There was a guy who showed at the last OC meet with an RX-3 I believe it was....7 owners tend to have more knowledgable on engine stuff as they tend to have more experience with the rotory, where as the 8 owners are more useful to me to exchange information on mods. Its good to hear feedback on mods, and to see them in person when you can.

I agree with that....does anyone really know the area and can provide us with a meet place that would be close to the final location. Maybe something in Tustin so that those of you south don't have to drive all the way up to Cerritos.

What time is that other meet? Does it work well with our meet time or would we need to be somewhere earlier?

Meet in Fullerton area? Then head to Tustin? At least that way it's convenient via freeway for most people coming from Inland Empire/LA area... and it wouldn't be TOO far for the Irvine OC peoples.

Heck Mikeb is around the corner, as wells as a few other RX owners.

Maybe someone should post this in the RX7club forums too... Showing up in 7s AND 8s... now that's cool. Heck, go old school too and get some early Gens there too... I've always appreciated the First/2nd Gens coming to the meet because of how well they take care of their cars.

Sounds like we got a couple of things going on..some people meeting in Cerritos, some in Fullerton, some just showing up to the Tustin location. Lets get some decisions and some head counts. I'm up for meeting in Fullerton since I'm in Fullerton on Thursdays. You got a location picked out? In n Out on Harbor/Orangethorpe....or maybe that parking lot of the Jewerly Mart / Sportsmart? What time do you want ot plan to meet there...who else would go there?

I think we were trying to find amidway point for those of us northeast of Cerritos. Instead of driving all the way to Cerritos, and then backtracking to Tustin...I think some of us were going to try and meet in the Fullerton area near the 91. I was suggesting the parking lot of Sportmart/Jewerly mart off the 91 at Harbor since it is a large parking lot near the freeway. I thought about In n out, but did remember that they tend to have those meets with the ricers.

I dont think anything has been finalized yet though.

It looks like we will be heading down to the Tustin area this Thursday...to meet up with another couple of car groups already meeting down there...I think SRT4's and EVO's...

No one has indicated the time for the Tustin area meet, or a time for a pre-meet so we can all cruise there together.

I think since Dionne is the "organizer" he should make the final decision. It avoids confusion like last time. All these changes will only lead to a bad turnout. I would like to see more than 4 cars, but thats just me...

I totally agree. But that is also why I asked someone who is familiar with the Tustin area to pick a meeting location point down there, so that some of us could avoid driving all over the place. If we are going to "block A" for the car meet, maybe we could meet at "block B" right down the street as a rally point.

PLEASE post the spot and time in the first post so we know where to meet in Tustin.

I for one get off work late now, and sometimes I'm not home till 9PM from San Diego.
