I'm fearing that one of the biggest posts in this section is about to die without some direct intervention. There is already a couple of new posts claiming "new OC meet location" and so on....it may end up that we all go to the Malibu cruise thread....?

2010 Prius - Miss the 8
Jedi...why does it take so long to get your car? There are tons of different optioned RX-8s/colors/features to pick from in So Cali. You shouldn't need to special order it now..
We can start blogging our meets Rotary Rasp! Lots of pix, starting this Thursday. Perhaps it could draw more Rotary enthusiasts out...

2010 Prius - Miss the 8
I'll be at Tustin at 9pm. If we meet at Cerritos, and leave by 9:30pm, we get there at 10pm, most of the people are gone already. What's the point of even going.

It's killing me to have to wait this long...

On a more serious note: I have I have a REAL problem....
I have recently caught myself PRETENDING that I'm driving an RX-8. I mean, it's gotten to the point that I'm even visualizing how I would drive certain roads and even pretending to be downshifting all the way up to 9,000 rpm's.

So what exactly did you want to get that was this hard to locate? Special color? Special leather? I've seen all the versions out there already at all the dealerships...

We're all meeting next week and catching the first Midnight showing of Star Wars! :D
To be honest, I don't know why the heck it was so hard to find my car!!
MT, Black, Black / Red interior, GT pkg, Navigation, Appearance pkg, Rotary accents, and a spare tire.
Last I heard was that the black / red interior was MUCH more popular on the VR, not the black. That seemed to be part of the problem...
We're all meeting next week and catching the first Midnight showing of Star Wars! :D

The dealership I got it from could have swapped your interior if that was an issue... Galpin Mazda was very accomadating of what I wanted when I wanted my car.
Btw, the options you listed aren't that difficult to get... I've seen some Black MT Black/red int. Fully loaded with Nav at dealerships ... like Browning Mazda, or even Irvine... they have everything on that lot.

But really, that is exactly the car I have...well used to be. I replaced the front, sides and wing with the MS Parts...but still got the interior and rotory accents on the back.
