im a proud new 8 owner, i got a sunlight silver, 6 speed, w/ black/red interior. i bought it 3 weeks ago. im having fun w/ it. i live in buena park and im planning to meet you guys at coco's soon. any suggestions on local places where i could get good prices for rims, body kits or any aftermarket products that carries 8 products?
first time rotary owner but a friend of mine is an avid rotary nut, he was happy he was able to convert me from being a so called "ricer" (i had a integra (which was stolen) to a rotary dude. to be honest, i had an eye for this car since they first came out, i became a member even though i dont have an 8 yet, but recently been active because i haqve my 8 now. thanks

Thats interesting...didn't even realize that this happened. Does make sense though, because this thread has turned into a "lounge" type discussion of various things. The only time we talk about OC meet info, is when it comes Tuesday or Wednesday of that week, or when a new member checks in....

Oh, and by the way, welcome to our new BP area 8. Hope you can make it to the next meet. Not this Thursday though, so you'll have to wait until the 26th.

We could always start an OC thread, "lounge edition"...the only drawback to this is that it probably wouldn't be sticky.

We really should consider this, that way, new members can see what occurs at the meet, and then join us for discussions in the lounge section. I'll be at the next meet, I got a tripod and figured out more about my digital camera. So I'll be able t post some more pictures than I did last time. This should be included in the OC weekly meet section....cause its relevant to the thread, and may bring more interest to our meets.

i use to live in cerritos, del amo and norwalk, i still go there a lot. i actually do my running every saturday at the new liberty park. i also went to artesia high school.

Since there's no meet this week, if you're in the area, check out Auto bacs, they are having a meet with Evos, Hondas, Mazdas, and BIKES. Dionne, maybe you should show up and see how other bikers are... :P

Ya, last time I went, it was a "Vipers/Z06" meet.. I was like DANG that's some USDM modifications. Saw a WRC (Looks really cool, wonder if it was the real one or just modified to look like one.) Also have seen Skylines R32/R33/R34.

But the place is hella expensive... like I said before, Autobacs is like Best Buy. You go there to look at all the neat things, then go home and order it online.

Btw, the Mazda 6 / Mazda 3 people are suppose to go tonight. Surprised it wasn't mentioned over here ... since we are part of the Mazda Family.

It's on the 22 Freeway, Exit Beach... Head north, it's on your left side in the same area as "Red Robins". It's on the corner of Lampson/Beach Blvd. Huge *** store, can't miss it.

Thanks. I'm actually about 2 minutes away from Rosecrans and Beach Blvd...so I think I'll just take the slow cruise down Beach Blvd. I think I know exactly where this is now...its in the huge shopping center on the west side of Beach, just north of the 22. I should be able to make it down there around 8:30...so I'll see whoever shows. I'll be washing my car today afterwork anyways....but I don't have my camera, as I wasn't planning on going to a meet tonight...oh well.

Interesting. Lots of cars, mostly TCs, xBs, two of the Carbon Creations cars, lots of audio cars, Team Allstars there, STis, EVo 8s, some Mazda 6, etc etc...
