sorry, couldn't make it to this one... hopefully this weekend. did u guys take any pix of the meet? post them up if u did

re: dealerships> yah, alhambra mazda is pretty bad. ricky tru (svc mgr) is not very responsible as far as managers go. they've dinged my car too, and they are the reason why i had to replace all my glass... but, like kelvin said- yah, i'm too lazy to drive all the way over the galpin mazda all the time. so, i have been going to alhambra on saturdays instead of m-f, because the weekend service crew there seems to be better. and, i always remind them what they did to my car and they so far have been extra careful. <knock on wood> mazda dealerships generally just aren't that great.

Dude yes! 24 hours, right next to taco bell. Best tasting at 4AM! Cheap in price, great in quality, taste, and most of all quantity!

Update pics, took at last when rain started to pour. We went underground parking lot for some basic installation. FUN! But 3 of them took off earlier cuz they have to work on the following day.

ummm.... are u on CRACK?!! (j/k) well, PH Mazda totally sucks. they made a cantalope size dent in kwescott's black rx-8 on the rear passenger side, and then pretended it was already there. hate to say it, but makes me embarrassed to be chinese when i encounter scums like the ppl at PH.

hey compared to alhambra they're great. besides they've been really good to me, even helped me with a little touch up paint at no additional cost.

Hey, guys, i was just wondering if you guys got the tools to remount the front plate? (move to bottom left, under the fog light) I'm thinking of doing it at this week's meet, but I don't have tools. Or should I just bring it to the shop and let them do it?

Why does it make you embarrassed? There aren't any Chinese ppl at PH mazda... And I've been there numerous times, they aren't anything but helpful.

when i went there, there were like 5 chinese salesmen there sitting around picking their noses. the one that helped us was probably taiwanese, based on his accent. they all looked like they were taking afternoon naps. one guy even had red indentations on his face from sleeping on his desk. LOL

my bro-in-law wanted to test drive the mazda5. and, the fat taiwanese guy basically just scribbled a test drive document verification and gave it to us and said, "there u go. u just test drove a cx-7 and mazda5." and then he walked away.

what kind of treatment is that?

also, i heard from mike that his friend paid something like $35k for a mazda3 GT from PH. sold to him by a chinese salesman.

look, i know ppl need to do their homework before car shopping. but, just because a buyer isn't completely up-to-date with pricing doesn't mean that it's "ok" for any car dealership to outright cheat & lie to them. there is no way a mazda3 costs $35k.

I'm going to be honest and say that i personally haven't deal with any of the chinese employees yet. just the service folks and service department. but yeah I can definitely see the salesman not giving a rat for their customers.

Ohhhhh.. my bad... I thought you were talking about the service department. My mistake. Like the guy above me I only ever talked to the service department, and those guys are pretty helpful. Everytime I look over to the sales floor, all I do see are other ppl, including some Chinese guys, sitting around and not doing anything. Except for one time, when they had a Dodge Viper and I was gaping at it and a salesman jokingly asked if I wanted to trade in my car for it.
