dang... i hate servers now also... lol
actually, after seeing the ESX demo from my co-worker, i feel like i just woke up from the ice age... i predict that in the next 5-10 years "real" servers will all become a thing of the past and virtualization will be the future of server-based computing.
i'm getting to old to keep keeping up with this stuff anyways... <sigh>

saw that thread a while ago, but i guess i'm gonna have to do it.
but... what about the drive?
i'm making an effort to come out to it.
guess it doesn't hurt to hit up RB to see whats going on.

On Saturday, we will be leaving at 10:30 from the meet area to reach the drive rendezvous point. Please be there on time so we can head out and get the drive started on time; the AU parking lot is NOT the official meeting place for the drive group. That will be posted later. Who's coming? If you have a co-driver, please use one slot. One slot means one car so I can figure out how many maps to print. Thanks!

By the way, due to the recent climate, please consider carefully before lighting up out there.

Guys, if you're coming on Saturday I really need you to sign up so I can figure out how many maps to print. If you're unsure, please say so, but I need a headcount, especially since this looks like a big crowd.

new cars will not produce the same kind of gases as one thats been run'd in.
there was a minimum mileage count to qualify. it needs to be "newish", but well broken in to. nothing below 5k... from what i got when i spoke to jim himself.
jim explained that the car would be left overnight, and tested cold....
so everything and anything that can alter catalyst efficiency... he didn't have to tell me... but lets just say anything that can alter the pcm closed-loop duration will most likely be ruled out.

If you're meeting us at AU at 10:30, please have at least 120 miles worth of gas in your tank. The official meeting place for the drive is 11 pm at 1919 Verdugo Blvd, La Canada, CA 91011 if you can't or don't want to make the AU meeting point. Driver's meeting will be at 11:10 there and we will depart at 11:15. We should also have a few spare drivers.
I know a few of the Evo guys are looking into coming, can someone contact them to get their confirmation? Thanks.
