I've been chatting with the guys over at rx7club about doing maybe a meet somewhere and drive to a good resturant somewhere off a twistie road. (Sorry, but they are the bulk of our meets and *cough* they stayed longer than 15 minutes) LOL

^actually, module_15 and i were the only ones on time that got there EXACTLY at 5. we left at 6:30 so we stayed for an hr and 30min. if anyone's coming, it's better that youre punctual other wise we think you flaked out. besides, we left early cuz we had to get parts installed on our cars.

 

The whole point is numerous people said 5 was too early. Point made is the fact no one was there. People said the exact time they'd be able to make it and everyone pretty much arrived at that said time. I arrived at 6:28 on the dot and they said you guys had just left 5-10minutes before I had arrived. There wasn't much of a reason to be surprised people weren't there at 5, when a majority of the people on boards said it was too early for them.. It was nice turn out however and I met a lot of the RX7 guys and a few of the RX7 chicks. Whiteshadow was a funny character and the security guard had us in stitches..

They took some pics but not many.

Looking forward to the next one. It'd be nice to see some of you guys at the big meets and shows and driving/racing events. I feel lonely.

damn did i totally miss out on a nor cal meet up? Let me know when the next one is. Maybe we can do a movie parking lot meet up where there is also some food near by so we are not just loitering in the lot for the cops to bother us. April 3rd? FF4 opening night? Our 8 was used in the background of the shot where vin diesel rolls up to the club. let me know when the next nor cal meet up is. By the way there is a bay area meet in alameda on March 21st if anyone has heard about it. I am planning on being out there.

 

I'll be at that show in the TunerPlayground booth inside the hanger.

I'll be at the Stockton FF4 opening day show/event. as of now I'll be parked INSIDE on the showroom floor but things might change because it conflicts with HIN.

 

All right guys it looks like the next meet will be taking place on the 18th of April and involves a cruise down Salmon falls. I will post the official stuff in a new thread as soon as I hear that it's final. The RX7 guys set up this meet.

 

There's a couple of us RX8 guys over there putting in some insight. Anyone else feel free to come over.

i was there as media. Low turnout on cars, cold weather=not that great of a show.

No i had a code when i bough them online paid 25 bucks. Yeah it was way smaller than the HIN i went to last year in LA, but i liked that they had the drift shows and motocross. The LA one didn't, but it did have more cars...
