only meet mentioned here in the West section is a track day at Buttonwillow that weekend but I don't think that will cause too much of a conflict.

I say 9/17.
the track guys are probably going to be there all weekend and even if they are only running one day, they'll probably spend the other day either prepping their car or fixing / replacing parts and flushing fluids from having pushed their cars the day before.

As long as our inside man can confirm that 9/17 won't conflict with a potential SS14, then that sounds good. Worth mentioning since last year's SS was 9/18 ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Just not 9/11 for me, haha.

Still working on the BBQ idea.
Current issue: In order to reserve our spot at this park - we would need to put down approximately $150 to reserve the picnic area.
Unless i can get at least 15 people to commit to bringing $10 each - it may not happen...
that or we're gonna need to make a sacrifice and show up early at a park...n' i mean...EARLY EARLY...we're talking like, don't sleep at night n' just crash at the park the night before kind of EARLY...
btw...
i'm opening a discussion about possibly reviving the Orange County Area...
anybody have any ideas??

The picnic area is free...thing is...a lot of people reserve that picnic area. It's really just a matter of luck if you're not reserving it.
The reason i wanted to lock the place down is because i didn't want a huge group showing up if someone else already had it reserved with the city...

that makes sense.
so the $150 is just to reserve it the spot but the spot is free?
do you get the $150 back?
<--- confused.
