That was my initial thought, but the separation in the bumper is higher than where the MS rear would sit. So, I would spend a grand in getting the MS bumper, but would still have to get a new bumper to attach it to. Rather pointless except for the fact that I wouldn't have to worry about reattaching the rear flares or rotary accent.

I would love to get the Ings+1 rear shrouds like Snowfl8k. I just love how those fit. But then again, these replace only the shrouds (and need to be painted). I would still need to new bumper.

Sorry to hear the bad news Lesper. Bad things happen in three's, I'm just keeping my eyes out for numbers 2 and 3.

You have a chance at lowering that bill by paying a deductible?

Xrider,

Sometimes your insurance can go up if you file a claim but it depends on lots of factors; any other recent claims, were at fault, etc...

Insurance companies can be such a P.I.T.A. to deal with over these types of things though...

well, i just asked that because that would have happened to me back when i had my truck. i needed some paint work done to it (some @$$ hole keyed it all the way around), and if i would have gone through my insurance, my insurance would have gone up! and it wasn't even my fault

well... looks like this thread is CURSED

I just went to get lunch with my co-worker, and in a parking lot, some idiot driver HIT my car. i yell at the bitch and tell her to stop. she stops, and then i go around the parking lot, and park somewhere so she can park right next to me. then she goes to pullp up next to me, and she hits an astro van and acts as if nothing happened.. i looked at my car, and noticed that there was thankfullyn o damage, but then i looked at the astro van, and there bumper was damaged.

the moral of the story is: EVERYONE PLEASE DRIVE SAFELY

hopefully no one else on this thread will get into any type of accident.... i was lucky enough to not get my car damaged but the lady was a ******* idiot. (she hit 2 cars within 30 seconds time)

dang, that sucks big time. i would immediately report it to your building's or co's management. if there is a documented precedent, then later if ur car ever has "mysterious" dings, it will be easier to pin it on her... plus, she sounds like an idiot and should lose her parking priveliges there if u ask me...

well, like jorge said, it all depends.

ur rate generally depends on ur claim record over a period of time- regardless whether ur at fault or not in any accidents. insurance co.'s don't want to pay out period. so, in their eyes good drivers who never cause accidents but who are accident prone are no different than bad drivers.

for example, u could be a great driver and never get in any moving accidents or only get into accidents where other people are always at fault. to the insurance co, u r a really accident prone and so u r considered "high risk."

So hope fully that's the third and we don't have any BIG problems. I'm glade to hear that their was nothing wrong with Kravie's. I hate when these things go around. That's why we are leaving the 8 home this weekend and riding with some one else to Vegas Knowing our luck we will get a phone call saying some Jerk was flying down the street and some how managed to turn in our drive way and smashed the car. It's possable! Our stories seem to be getting crazyer . Ok I REALLY HOPE for NO MORE stories like these. Talk to you all soon and have a good weekend.

NO MORE BAD STORIES! Can't we all get along

i don't know how my car is going as far as reliablilty right now =\. yesterday out of nowhere my ABS, e-brake, and traction control lights all came on at the same time while i was on the freeway. When i shut the car down and turned it back on, the lights had turned back off. And today, the light that looks like a coloseum (oil cooler light i think? dunno, haven't looked at the manual to see what it's called) came on for a few minutes and then shut off.

so imna take my car down to the dealer and get it checked out.......though i just know that they'll say something like "oh, we can't duplicate the problem" and like 2 days later my car's brakes will fail and i'll get into some huge @$$ accident =\ *knocks on wood*

Too late, I was rear ended Monday in Vegas. Luckliy for me we didn't take the 8. We were just about to leave the hotel after putting the suitcases in the trunk at the valet area and bam....what the heck? Don't people know how to stop their vechicles without slamming into the car in front of them? My neck still hurts.
