I drove to San Diego twice, 110 miles each way, this weekend.

BTW - The novice school was awesome.

Saturday was a chalk talk. Covering basic principles, concepts, and safety.
Sunday was a blast.
We were all assigned to an instructor. I was with Jason Isley.

Learned a lot, like how much better Jason can drive my car.

Hopefully the lessons were enough so that I can spank speeddemon at the next practice in January.

If you have not seen it I can tell you Cesar has a very short stick. I mean shifter. That thing is crazy, seems like it cut the travel in half. Had a great time playing with Cesar, those Kumho SPT's work pretty well on a stock car. I think they had a good setup in SD, could have managed the time better so everyone got more runs in the afternoon, but all in all was a good day. Hope to see more 8s out this year.

Rancho is Ontarios sister (they are next to each other.)

Spiceboy, you are welcome to take it off if you wish, but we still need to get you over to decided what colors you want, AND I still have to cut them, weed them, transfer them..... THEN we can put it on. so personally I would just leave it on, untill we have it ready to put on. I am pretty good at taking them off, so it's really not that big of a deal.

as for the star..... it's up to you guys. how I say we shoot for friday night. it seems like MOST people could make it then. sounds like we have:

Speeddemon32
Krazie Kave
Kwescott
Snowfl8k

I would suggest looking into an aftermarket system. To have the factory navigation system installed would be extremely pricey...like awsome rim (hint/hint) pricey.

I don't see any wheels in that picture at all!

Taking pics on Friday sounds like a good plan. Not sure if I can make it though...trying to get from OC to Rancho on a Friday would be pretty rough.

Spice: Did you say beers?
As for the Navigation, I would not try to install the factory unit. I talked to a few guys on this forum and they said it would run you at least $3,000 for the Nav PLUS all the labor to put it in!

Getting the factory one put in would be very expensive.
I have an aftermarket one. The nice thing about that is that I can put it in any car I drive, mine, my wife's or a friend's car.
I just need a cigarette lighter and I'm ready to go.
It has a 20gb harddrive, 7million points of interest stored in it, and map updates are cheap and software updates are free because they're done through the USB connection and my pc.
The only negative is you don't get the clean appearance that you get w/ the factory system, but it has a ton of positives.

Here's the one I bought at costco.

Taking the 210 in won't be as bad, plus you won't have to mess with the 15.....

It would be nice to see you there

Snowfl8k is off for the Christmas vacation, so I imagine that she has lots of time right now to look at men and their wheels. Hey Snow, you need to check out my wheels.

Maybe you could check them out at our next monthly meet which is on the second Saturday of January. We will not be at our normal meeting place (Pirate City Tatoo) because we will be competing at the autocross event at the California Speedway.
