Maybe Riccio can just get the real MS front bumper, instead of having to go Urethane ... If the damage is bad (crack), don't repair it with bondo, just go for the real thing...

Glad everything was alright though, no harm was done..

ill post my pictures soon, i didnt get very many this time. i guess i was not in a picture taking kind of mood. i should have given the camera to Michelle. then she would have had to take video and stills. :D

KrazieKave. what happend. we missed you. I'm sure what ever it was is was important. i know you wanted to go. Hope all is well.

Riccio, glad to see you were ok. that was a phone call i didnt want to get! you should have seen michells face, she was quite worried. you should have seen me turn around. you would have been proud!

Kwescott, Nice pictures! or should i say ERICA Nice pictures! i like the cartoon me. i'm hot as a cartoon! :D

everyone else. thanks for coming, hope to see you all on the next meet. we will shoot for one longer run instead of 3 small ones.

Glad to hear/see you all had fun. I'm sorry about what happened Jill... sounds pretty bad.

I went to a USC Graduation on Friday (13th) then afterwards went to my cousins house to celebrate in Palos Verdes (near Redondo Beach). we were there till midnight, then when i proposed to my parents to leave they were like "Euhhhh, We're sleeping over." then i told them i have been anticipating this for a month and such and they're like meh.... get a life...

so then saturday morning I checked my messages hoping rx8squared left me a meesage w/ his number so i can call him back. I called him back and he's like WTF are you? then i gave them (rx8squared and lesper4) directions (that werent too good) (sorry). I heard you all picked them up on the freeway which is good!

Lesper and squared: sorry i didnt show-up at the sub-meet but i will be there next month! (if you are going to come next month) I'll be there for sure!

Kwescott sorry about this super long essay :P

in hopes of seeing ya'll next meet
-Krazie

Thumbs up

Ok - since you guys (and gals!) are probably interested in this:

New windshield to be installed in RX8 tomorrow night.

Will then take another flat bed trip to Auto Werks in El Monte - where, Peter thinks he can have the car back on the road and looking good in less than 3 weeks.

So, aside from the obvious $$$ involved, things are actually looking pretty good.

Except - anyone with a good suggestion on the BEST place (price/delivery) to buy either a Koyo or Fluidyne radiator for my baby?

Thanks,

Jill

The radiator is shot?

It didn't look that serious.

her front fascia is urathane....just like the ms bumper.......and it didnt crack.......it did exactly what it was supposed to, it bent and twisted ....... the bumper might be salvagable..body shops can do crazy things now-a-days!! either way, she also still has the stock front fascia

i tried finding a place for your radiator......
http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/k...diators/mazda/
http://www.good-win-racing.com/mazda...=2&id=joA6cjAG (note..this one was the cheapest)
http://www.pwr-performance.com/mazda.htm (this one is a prw alum. radiator)

there were a few others i found...but the prices were always in the $400's
hope that helps

Yeah - the radiator seems to be leaking from the bottom right. This is a GREAT excuse to go ahead and upgrade (I'm a BIG fan of cooling upgrades).

Thanks Vipers - greatly appreciated!

yeah, the bumper really did what it was supposed to. it bent out of shape, but after sitting there for a few minutes it went back into place. i seriously didnt see anything wrong with the bumper (besides paint)
also i am a little suprised it got into the radiator myself. it didnt look like it went that far in.

anyways, nice to see you will have her fixed fairly soon. makes me cringe just thinking about that sexy car not being on the road.

HA HA - see? I'm funny and I don't even know it - a "natural" comedian!

I think maybe a rock, twig (or signpost) got the radiator - don't think it was the bumper.

yeah, i ment the damage.

I didnt think the damage got that far into your car. i didnt mean the bumber. if the bumper went that far you wouldnt have much of a front end left.

must have beed a rock, or somthing like that. (like you said) i doubt it was somthing from the car that caused that.

anyways, let me know if you want me to post those pictures riccio. (i wont unless you say so) your trophy picture turned out pretty good.

id say the radiator was damaged during your "off-road" experiance when you were on that hill...... we all saw the final resting place, but i bet that bumper was pushed in alot further than that DURING the whole thing....it probubly pushed itself back out after the disaster like its supposed to ...i mean, you did knock out 3 of those reflector signs.......those are in the ground pretty good!!

Trophy Picture

Personally I think the picture should stay off, makes me cringe in my stomach. Maybe we should save it for the next meet in person. As for the repairs / mods sounds like you might get a better car out of it minus the memories and the dent in the pocket book.
