a good meeting point would be Beryl Park off the 210. We need to leave Beryl park by 845 to give us enough time to get to Malibu by 10:00. Usually takes an hour, but give us extra time for the caravan, as well as any bad traffic that may occur.

jada toys makes a 1/18th scale as well as a 1/24th scale.... in quite a few color variations.... they call the toy line "import racer"... you can find them at most kmart, target, walmart stores.. they are slammed, w/ custom body kits, wheels, interior..etc.. heres a few on ebay in 1/24th scale

if you want a replica car, bone stck, but perfect in quality, autoart makes an exact copy in 1/18th scale ... it will set you back like $60-80 but is well worth it...... real carpet, seatbelts, truck carpet, the plastic engine cover comes off to reveal the engine... etc... i have one, very well done...... if i remember, ill bring it to the next meet......

here is one on ebay..... this one is the x-men edition, but the interior is identical on my car.....

and here is a yellow one on ebay right now.... casey, i already bid on it, but if you want it, outbid me.. i already have one (or if you wanna buy it off of me for what i get it for, i bid a max of $50)

There is a store at the Ontario Mills Mall that specializes in the little cars. It is right by the Mikasa outlet. Next time your out this way head on over there. They have most of them in stock.

I will be selling my stock rims pretty darn soon. How soon do you need them? I still have my race tires mounted to them at the moment.

Malibu could be a GREAT scenic route if we weren't doing MACH 3 down those roads....

i would say malibu feels spirited becasue of the speed and tightness of the roads but we definitly go faster at times in san berdo. if you dont want to drive fast get in the back and you will still have a good time.

This is true on all accounts...especially the idea of getting in the back. The Malibu cruise is definately a different experience depending on who you drive behind, and how far back in the pack you are. The people in the back definately don't get the chance to drive as fast, as we tend to get that slowing affect further to the rear.

the problem with driving in the back of the pack is that you always hit the red lights, and/or get stuck behind slow cars

My dad uses transit shield when he takes the 7 out. (Basically a car condom) It's the same stuff as the protective film that auto companies use to deliver the car. Works great against rock chips and won't leave sticky residue when you pull it off. www.transitshield.com

SWEET! the next meet though is an odd one. we will be meeting at an undecided location (as of now) and driving to Malibu for there meet. it is supposed to be a fun drive. normal SB meets will return next month if your not interested in Malibu. If so SWEET! looking forward you you comming out!

as for the wheels, like Keith said he will be selling his soon. how bad was the damage? how is the 7?

i remember my trip to malibu. it was loads of fun . it was also a day or two after i had gotten "fired" from pc cRub .

i drove w/my DSC off (TSC was on) that day. but then again, i always drove like that through the twisties :D. i know it woulda helped if i had it on that one night...how much it would have helped, i don't know...
