The website is www.keepvid.com.
You can't search from their site. You paste a link in the box, and they give you a link to download the file from the host.
Here's an example.
I went to video.google.com and search for Ferrari & Fiat.
When I got the search results, I selected the 1st video.
The page changes and starts loading the video. The link in the address bar is this
_http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7320960375181402397&q=ferrari+fiat_
(I added the "_" so it wouldn't show up as a link in the post)
Next, you copy the address bar info up to the "&", but don't include the "&q=ferrari+fiat".
You go to the keepvid website, and paste it in the box on their site.
You'll get a link to download an .avi file, or an .mp4 for iPod or PSP.
Download whichever you like.
If you're using this for Youtube files, it's a little trickier, but there are directions on the keepvid site for those. I usually find a file on youtube, and look for it on google.

I don't really care for the pirate copy of movies because the quality is usually pretty bad, and you only get mono sound.
I have 6.1 surround sound at home, and it's annoying when all of speakers have the same sound.

Drifting!!!
That's right, drift event at Irwindale on Aug. 31st. Only $20/person.
Who's with me?
I'm going to Vegas that weekend, and was planning on leaving Thursday night, but now I'm leaving Friday morning because of this.
I'd like to go, but I don't feel like going alone. Don't know if my wife will be interested.
Anyways, here's the link with all the info.

Re: 8/19/2006 So-Cal RX Club: Annual Beach BBQ
Has there been any discussion about going to this meet on the 19th?
----
So-Cal RX Club: Annual Beach BBQ
Type: General Meeting
When: 8/19/2006 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Where: Bolsa Chica State Beach
Huntington Beach, CA
Contact: Berny Herrera
It's that time of the year again. The yearly So-Cal RX's beach BBQ is upon us. We will be meeting at Bolsa Chica State Beach on the L.A. / Orange County border on Saturday August 19th. Come out and join us at this yearly event that gives everyone in the club a chance to show off their Rotary's, and meet and greet each other. This is a great chance to see what other club members have been up to since the last meet, and find up what's up for SS-9.
We would like to get a head count of those planning to show up, to make sure we have enough food and drink. Please email Jeremy Romero to get on the attendee list, thanks.
We will be requesting a small donation of $5.00 per person to cover food cost
Notes:
Bolsa Chica Web Site
We will be at the northern most parking lot on Pacific Coast Highway, at the Warner Ave. side of the beach.
It's a little tricky at first, because when you get to the Pacific Coast and Warner intersection, it looks like there is an entrance right there, but it's actually only an exit. From Warner, you need to make a left onto PCH (south) and go down approximately a 1/2 mile or so, to the first beach entrance on the right. Once in the parking lot, you will basically be backtracking on the other side (beach side) of the fence to the northern most parking lot.

wow, so many different topics to respond to, lets focus people
At Loren: You will not be happy with the Eibachs. The drop is too much for what you need. The spring rate is not going to be good for you either. Stick with the S-techs.
At Cesar: The 31st sounds good to me for D1. I want to go.
At Detrich: Many of us went to the Beach thing last year. It was cool to see all the different Rotaries that showed up, but to me, it didn't seem like something I would go to again. People tended to either stay in the parking lot, or stay in their smalll cliques (based on the year of their vehicle that they brought)....so, you end up talking to the same people you see at any other big event. If the beach is close for you, or you have nothing else to do that day, then it may be worth it. I would suggest that you consider doing the practice event with Cesar, do something different with your car and enjoy the experience, thats my 2 cents.
At 2 hours: Yup, took me that long, don't know why, but thats what happened.
Here's another topic for discussion: Drive-in movie to see Talladega Nights. Erica, Cesar and I have already seen it, but thought it would be fun to see it as a group like we did for Fast/Furious. The movie is funny, and we're willing to see it again.

I just checked the listings.
Talledaga Nights is playing at 8PM & 11:30PM. The movie playing with it is...
Nachoooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Libre at 10PM.
I'm definitely going now. I'd like to see Talledaga Nights again, but I really want to see Nacho Libre.

My suggestion would be Saturday or Sunday Night. (Friday is the wedding.)
