It can only be purchased online so you guys better get movin'! haha. Oh, and we'll need some good microfiber towels. I think Cesar said he knew a good place to get some.

You can put whatever location you want. Some people use intersections near their house, some have used their actual address. I didn't want that much info on there.

Just ordered my Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit.
I wasn't sure if I would use all the products, especially since I don't have leather seats, but I can use this kit for my dad's Porsche too.
@Scotty - Did I see you on the street this morning in Redlands?
There was a red FD on Alabama & 10fwy as I was getting off the freeway.
I think he waved, but I had the sun in my eye's so I couldn't see well.
@Everyone - Tomorrow AM my car goes in for the recall. The more I think about it, the more I hope to get a new engine.

I don't want a remanufactored engine...I'd rather keep mine since I have had it for so long...its like a part of me. It is the bake to my shake.
Jedi, yes....lets do this. I have a three car garage, I can clear out the truck and we can get a couple cars in there at once....a waxing fiesta. I assume that we need to all order the darn stuff...or can we go halfsy's and split kits? Is there enough product to buy one kit for two/three/four cars?
Golden...were you in Thailand....did you get out before the tanks hit the streets in Bangkok? Bring back any more carbin fiber stuff

speaking of this party what is teh next best thing to Zaino, mcquires? turtle? But dont plan anything this weekend since i will be out of town.
I too think i will take my car in tomorrow as well since i will not need it during the day. Are you going to Romero? I will be letting them know I expect to see my car back in its orginal condition. Then again i dont want to overload Romero?
Cesar i will be putting a PM into Truemagellen today to get a status since i have not heard anything.

Romero...you could get kicked out of this thread for saying something like that. ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I know it is a bad word, but I haven't had problems there, yet.....and the other dealership close to my work is the one that dented my fender to heck.

so keith, which of the lesser of two evils are you taking your car to? why not try a new place and take it to claremont mazda? i haven't really heard anything good nor bad about it. sure it's out of the way, but it's a different dealership

dang, i want to join the party too... but, i have to hold off until i do a light polish first... x-ped was nice enough to help fix my hood & bumper last weekend.
and, he recommended that i do a basic power polish first- to smooth out the finish and get rid of some water spots- before applying wax or zaino etc... so, that will be my homework for the next couple weeks i guess...

don't know where I will go, maybe we'll just take the snowfl8k in first and see how things go ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thing with this recall is that we are forced to do it. I am relunctant to have them change anything on my vehicle, including the flash. I'm happy with the flash I have, but wished I was able to keep the one I had when I bought the car. My gas mileage dropped about 20-25 miles per tank with the current flash I have. I'm concerned with the changes that may occur with this new flash. I'm not having problems, why change mid-stream.....because a few people, who don't know how to drive a rotary in hot weather, are forcing Mazda to do things for every car.
I know Snow is very upset with the fact that she will be forced to change her flash. She is cery happy with the performance of her car...I am as well. I've told you guys before that her car is incredible...it will pull on anyone's 8 in this forum....even with the overweight/oversized wheels.
Now watch, I'll probably be the only one in this group to have an engine replacement....

My car goes in for it's Doom'sDay meeting (aka Recall inspection) on Friday morning. I'm a bit worried because I have a confessoin to make: I too have had the dreaded power loss!!!
Mine wasn't nearly as bad as some of the horror stories I've read on this forum but it happened about a month ago when we had that crazy heat wave.
I sat on the 91 for about 2 hours and when I got off the freeway, I just couldn't get the car to accelerate in 1st & 2nd like it normally does! (noticeable difference but was still able to get up to 70 mph with some extra effort)
I think my engine will pass the compression test since it's been running well since but I the cat might have been the culprit. Wish me luck guys!!
