I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of cameras. Cesar, Lesper, and Kewscott usually have theirs.

if you dont mind getting to gilman springs road before the ride begins . . . there are a ton of good roads between there and palm springs. Again, it is a bit of a drive, but should be fairly un-crowded
But - ya - the best roads are south of me in san diego county.

I know, and that was a gay bar. I hear it all the time.I assure you; I like girls!(women) My other nick name is DP sailor. which sounds a little limp wristed too. let me explain . .
My name is Jake Beagle ( Be-auj-lee) So everyone calls me beagle(beeg-ul). And I have a sailboat in Dana Point.
Now I have to bring my girlfriend on Saturday so no one (none of the guys) will be afraid of me.

Actually, the Regal Beagle was not a gay bar in Three's Company.
Jack, Larry, and Ralph Furley all took their dates there.
It was the hot spot for everyone to go on dates. (I watched too much tv in the 80's)

The SB cruise is a lot of fun because it's not a white knuckled, flying through the turns, on the verge of spinning out like some other cruises *cough cough Malibu cough cough*
I think of the SB meets as more of a spirited pleasure cruise

it is fairly difficult if your trying to attack it. just go at your own pace, makes all roads easy.
there are 2 decreasing radius turns up there that always get me (i either spinout or end up understeering into the left lane).
