Loren, I suspect a lot of Forza and call of duty are in my near future for this weekend. to the best of my knowlage we dont have to many plans. I HOPE to just sit at home veg out and play on the xbox and puter.
hopefully Michelles game comes in today so she can have something to play also. although I have to admit she was gettin the hang of call of duty the other day.

good luck with the home purchase, I hope everything works out well for you. Have you pulled comparisons in the area to see what prices are doing? Here's a nifty website for ya: www.zillow.com

Jedi been there done that. The guy is firm but we are putting a slightly lower thee the value although i have heard zillows numbers can be wrong. The other one we are looking at is the same price with a pool. More monthly expensive but a steal becasue it is valued at higher.

Loren....you DO NOT want a pool over there in that neck of the WIND ZONE. Talk about monthly expenses of keeping a pool, but the maintenance in keeping it clean will take all your car weekend away....STAY away from the property with a pool. Beleive me on this...I live in this crizzapp.

A Freebie for everyone here - I am a licensed California Real estate appraiser. If you ever need any comps pulled, let me know. I have a better data collective than the automated sites. Zillow is good, they just lack in the rural areas.

Loren: I can pull you comps from any of the title companies I work with (perks of the VP title) Zillow is what I send people to for a "ball park" figure to make sure they're not getting hosed on a purchase.

As for the pool: SUPER high maintenance, and can make selling your home down the road much more difficult. I remember when my grandfather passed away, I was constantly driving to my grandmother's house to treat that pool. Talk about a P.I.T.A. !!!

Rgl: do you still do appraisals? If you ever want to get on our list of approved appraisal companies, let me know ...maybe I can get you in touch with the right people over in my neck of the woods.

how long has the house been on the market? a difference of $5K should be easy to overcome.

Now I see why there are always so many kids at the damn park across the street from those homes....wow, absolutely NO backyard. The noise of the street to the rear of you might get to you after awhile. When it does, just put on your XBOX 360 headset and call me up for a game.

for those of you with 360, waiting for Forza 2....and for those who may be easily swayed towards the 360 in light of Forza 2 coming out...check out the link on this page:

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/view...eId=2&shotId=2

there is a click here on that page to start a video for Forza Motorsports Challenge....a video game-based show to start on the SPEED channel in FEB.

be interested to see what they say about your comments...can't do that with our emails. Go ahead and post in there when you have a chance. This way, we all could get feedback.

yeah not as big as your back yard but it does have a nice trellis, tree and low wall. the side yard on one side is also pretty big for say a spa (lol) i just wish it had better curb apeal but being on an inside corner the sapce is pushed to the sides in the back.

curb appeal? Anything is better than an apartment, am I right? You'll be happy with a house of your own, regardless what it looks like from the front. It looks the same as your neighbors...so that's all you have to worry about. It is in a great neighborhood for the price. Good luck on the offer....do you know if there are any other offers...when will you find out the response to your offer? Was this an offer that your agent suggested...or is it within your loan amount?

another question would be, what pads do you have to buy to play the game...or are they anticipating selling a convertor so we can use our existing pads?
