ok, so whats the 411 on Jason's ride...is there any hopes of starting things tonight?

Snowfl8k will open the can of whoop *** (just slightly)...as she makes the first call to see if her car is ready. It is scheduled to be done today. But all of those in the no car club know exactly how trustworthy schedules are.

KC...I am chanting UPS right now for you...with fingers and eyes crossed.

good, cause I was starting to get a headache. Crossing your eyes, and holding them like that is hard. I'm glad it worked.

Correction: The PAINT was scheduled to be done today - the car by Friday. As of this morning they are still on schedule to have everything done by Friday. We hope........

like a pop tart... If they don't finish by Friday I'll have to make pop tarts out of all of them. Then of course, provide the juice for Jason.

Hey RX8ters more directed to Keith & KC....well here is the update, I went by the shop this morning the doors are on they was fine tuning / ajusting. it when I was there I have never seen those doors with two shocks per side yet but anyway not to get side tracked... Keith you was right when you said, shops like those never move to time...well it seem as if the snail "the sloww *** guy" hope he not reading this, told the owner he needs till tomarow "thursday" to properly re-enforced the welding and prep so it can go to paint.....blah blah blah blah... so i have to wait one more day...but the trunk is finishe and preped ready to be painted...well snowfl8k and clllcle... like we are cutting this right down to the last minuite....

I sure to feel good that my (little) mods are done. You guys sound like you are going to pull an all nighter.

Kwescott i thought you have 2 pairs of wheels....hummmmm.

KC we forgot, if you still have it, the silver deceptcon (?) could we do that saturday morning, or maybe you could mail it to me.

I keep trying to get some clear corner but everybody beats me to the punch, if anybody seems some for $50 I will buy them from you.

I will be there on Saturday bright an early!!

yah, having an eclosed garage is nice.

On the issue of two sets of wheels, yes I do. I'm gona keep my other set in case I get into this SOLO2 thing. I really want to get into it, but I don't tend to stick with things long when I'm not good at it...so we'll see how the first practice event goes. KC said something about the 22nd of October, but haven't heard anything more about it. I hope KC can sign me up when he finds out. (just let me know how much I would owe you KC and lets do it).

I don't mean to be a downer, but just trying to be realistic. With regards to paint work, especialluy when there is a lot of body work and/or welding...my experience has been that the paint needs two or three days to be completed...and especially given ouur conditions lately with the wind and fires and all....they will definately not be able to let the car sit outside. Or if they do, it is gonna look like crap.

I cant imagine that Jason will get his car back before Saturday. Don't fret though man, I will definately help you and Kc get things on. I just don't see this happening by 6:00am Saturday morning.

I will be crossing my fingers for you, and I hope to get a call Thursday saying that you got the car and were gonna start tomorrow night...I'll keep um crossed.

If you do get it back tomorrow, make sure you call me as quickly as you can. Cause I plan to go check out the paint job on Erica's car tomorrow after work. I've had other cars done, have gone down with excitement to pick up my ride, only to find that the paint doesn't match. Oh, I can't tell you how many bad experiences I ahve had with paint...ugggh. Especially with white..and with the RX8 pearl white...I'm just hopeing I like what I see tomorrow.

Anyways, give me a call and I'll make sure to bring a pillow a sleeping bag (oh forget that)...I'll just bring some mountain dews for the all nighter.

KC (if you'll still reading at this point)...do you know if San Bernardino has a fire pit ordinance. I was thinking we could have a small little fire pit outside so we could cook some Smores Maybe one of those trash can fires hobos have...that would be cool.

wel i have a little bad news on my car. i got everything, but now the starter will not engage the flywheel. I am working as hard as i can to resolve this. i am 9% sure it's do to the turbo tranny and the non turbo flywheel.

also got a new set of wheels for the rear, (yes a differant pair, and they to stick out way to far. (2 inches) it looks funny! so we are trying to find another pair that dont stick out so much.

Kwescott, i doubt we are allowed to have fires. and its not really one of those things i am wanting to find out the hard way. :D

spice boy, make sure you keep me updated.
