I would have to question the longevity of something like that under the hood. Great for garage art...or maybe he was using High Temp paint.

It is not Hi-temp paint. It is standard Professional body paint that is then cleared just like the exterior paint of any car. The cover is plastic not unlike a color-keyed bumper and well if the plastic dun melt then the paint won’t melt either! :D All Joking aside. It holds up well under the heat conditions present.

got my new mod installed today!....... looks pretty good. install not as smooth as i expected. but I might just be an idiot. all in all looks great!
