Paint shops in East Bay

Can anyone recommend any paint shops in the east bay? I need to get a front bumper, side skirts, and rear flares painted titanium gray, and the best I've found was $500.

$500 is actually pretty good price for painting the full bodykit!

I think so too, the company has been around for as long as I've been in the area, so I guess they must be doing something right. I just wasn't sure of the quality of the paint. The first place I went to did work for Mercedes, but I just think 800+ was a bit much. Guess I'll just take my chances and pray for a good outcome.

including installation? usually its extra for the installation. 800-1000 is about right for good quality paint job with installation. Don't skimp on the paint man, get it done right you get what you pay for.

Don't need it installed. You know me, mr diy. All those prices are for straight paint, no install.

It's usually at least $1000-$1500 for quality paint & installation on a full bodykit.

Ok, I decided to go with the expensive place. I figure if Mercedes, Lexus, Audi, and Porsche use them to take care of their work, they must be a great place. Should be done sometime next week. So hopefully by the weekend everything will be done and I'll take pics. Thanks for the suggestions.

Forgive my ignorance, but is that a type of paint? The guy that was helping (selling) me said the type of paint they use is considered the top five in the world. And he showed me around the facility where they had a bunch of high end cars being worked on.

Yea, PPG is a type of paint.Usually quality shops carry them.PPG & Dupont are among the best in my opinion but if they work on Mercedes for sure they use quality paint.I was just wondering want brand do they use at the shop.

haha sick! where's this shop at? Aye does the side skirts look as complicated to install as the ms ones? I was looking into getting the rear guards. But i don't think i want to wait that long for something so little and paying all the shipping. So what's next?

The install of the kit doesn't seem too bad. Only problem is that the instructions are all in Japanese, so I'll basically be looking at pictures. Depending on weather, I'll probably spread out the install over 3 days. Should be done by next weekend. We'll see though.

Just a hair under $1k. They did a good job. Gotta take it back and have them paint part of the rear black, instead of body color. I'm about 70% done with the install. Just gotta put on the front bumper now. I think I'll wait until Friday, because all I've been doing this week is working (overtime), gym, install, and sleep. No time to rest at all, and my body can feel it.

Side skirts were suprisingly easy. The rear wasn't too bad, but the fitment needs work. We'll see about the front. I'll probably hit you up this weekend, you can check it out. I need to find some new foglights sometime this weekend and try to fit/match them to the bumper. I was thinking about the thin, long type. I'll try to post a link later. You all can tell me what you think.
