I saw some cute biker girl once with "CMY6FLY" which I thought was quite clever.

How about adapting it to "CMY8FLY"

I figure that anyone who can't see that it's an RX-8 won't be helped by the plate
So I went with something entirely different: D12 35
Hint: it's a musical instrument.

I was tinkering with the California DMV personalized plates order system to see what was available... I came up with this similar one, which is apparently still available:

RX8 XLR8

"RX-8 Exhilerate!" or "RX-8 Accelerate", depending on how your brain is wired...

I might have to go with PAGAN RX, but that's a personal thing.

I found out "DUMBASS" is not available. (or they were smart enough to catch the crudeness!)

Does anyone know when you are supposed to put your license on. I got mine in the mail about 3 weeks ago. Ive had the car since the end of Feb. I've just been reluctant to put em on. Is there a fine for not having them on? I have them in the trunk but the car looks so new I think I can get away with it for a few more months. Cant get a photo ticket without them either.

Theoretically, I believe you are legally responsible to mount the plates properly as soon as you get them.

Finally, I think I may have it...haven't check the CA DMV site yet, but here it is...

(probably taken)

"MY RX"

Double or triple meaning, depending on how you look at it...

Literal - My RX8

If you take "rx" as a prescription, then it could be interpreted as "Just what I needed" or something similar to that

Or the 3rd could be "My drug"

Personally I like them all =)

It seemed to be taking a loooong time for me to get my plates so I got that little folded "mystery paper" from off the rear window. It says it's good for 90 days and call DMV if you don't get your plates by then (CA). Sounds like your 90 days are almost up...
