Nice pics

I always wondered what the bra looks like on the 8. I have one, and never put it on - go figure. I was afraid it would ruin the finish. Do those at your meet with the bras, have any finish problems?

No, but I take it off at least one every other week and vaccum off the back..

Any bees and bugs that do get traped and rub the clear coat just a little extra waxing is necessary to get out the rub marks.

Names:

1st pic: The far left is Michelle, wife of Kevin w/the ponytail, and I forget his screen name at the moment. Standing in the khakis & white t-shirt is RCCAZ, aka Tim who organized the event for the evening. The black t-shirt holding the soda is Blue-J Jordan, and his wife to the right and behind him. In the background with dark green shorts & white wankel tshirt with sunglasses on is Tom of the RCCAZ and RX7 club.

In the 4th pic is Pret's wife Mae (sp?) checking out something in front of their red8. By the way Pret we LOVED your new plate "I ROTA8" I think it was :D And your car looks great with the new tint.

In the 2nd pic is Mike Huff, aka VividRacing doing the clear corner install on my titanium. I have to tell ya'll Mike Huff is just a super guy, a great person to do business with, and was extremely kind to install my corners for me

Ya know Dave, I just had to peek in the garage to take a look at her after reading your post. Those corners really do clean her up. I'll have to turn the lights on tonight and get a look at them from further way. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks, I was discussing the paint in this forum, https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discussion-3/paint-chipping-34432/ and it seems that the bra should help me. I just drove from Olympia to Seattle yesterday up I5, and when I got back home - three more paint chips!

I think I will put the bra on today. I have two coats of NXT on the car now, so that should help with rubbing.

PS: I always liked the yellow eight, looks good with lots of aluminum on it. Do you have the door sills yet? They would look awesome on your car. Is yours the Red or Yellow 8?

1st pic: Those are all RX7 guys. I only know 1 by name I think - to the very far left the tall guy holding a soda is Tom. The guy with the dark blue tshirt and beige shorts (back mostly turned) I think is Keith who owns an absolutely gorgeous montego blue 3rd gen. I sure hope I'm getting all this right. I think the guy with the longer shorts, white tshirt & flip flops, arms crossed, is the neighbor of CACTUSG (who is a red 8 owner and was not present) that happened to be shopping at Home Depot and came over to talk to us since we were obviously a club of some sort. Hopefully he'll come join us next time.

It's funny to see all those car show attendees walking up and down our row, and we weren't even an offical part of the car show :p

Mine is the yellow w/ the mini me on the dash. as for the Al door sills, not yet they come after the clear corners, springs upgrade.:D
