Have any of you in the Bay Area considered coming out to a SCCA autocross to either run your car or see other RX8's run? There's at least 4 of us now running the 8 in B stock...the more, the merrier

Next two SFR SCCA events:
November 12 at Monster (Candlestick) Park. First car out at 9:00AM
November 19 at Golden Gate Fields (lower lot, behind horse track, next to Bay). First car out 10:00AM
All SCCA events require membership to run, unless you have a guest entry (arranged through a member), but checking it out is free, of course!
Here's the link to the SFR web site, with calendar and other details:

If anyone wants to run, pm me and we can see about making it happen.

Do you guys want to do something kinda active? There is a Dragon Boat Team that meets in Foster City at the lake off of E. Hillsdale. It's early though, 10:30am til about 12:00pm every saturday morning, and if you get good enough 9:00am is the real practice. I'm headed there again on sat and it's pretty fun. In case you don't know what it is, is a long cannoe with about 20 seats and you paddle up and down the lake.
Let me know what you guys think of that. O yea... and it's free!!!
Right after there is a starbucks and a chinese restaurant right around the corner for lunch.

I'm planning to change my tranny and diff oil and rotate my tires this Saturday. Not sure if I'll be able to take it, but maybe someplace in Cupertino would be a nice central location?

There is an SCCA autocross event this Sunday at Candlestick in SF. It's an all day event. Spectators are welcome to watch and even bum a ride if you have a helmet.

I don't think you need a pump, but a hose to guide the oil in would be useful.
