Prices in Arizona???
Haven't been to a dealer since the HP issue arose.
However, I have had multiple calls from both Showcase and Earhardt's in the last 5 days (let them go to VM).
Anyone in the Phoenix area know if they are doing deals under MSRP? I am guessing (hoping) they will be soon!
How many people on the board from Phoenix have 8's???
There is a nice black 8 in my parking garage (work), but I have not seen another on the road... seems strange.

I have been to every Mazda dealer and associate in the valley. I bought my rx-8 for $2000. over msrp. at Showcase Mazda. None of the other dealers would give me a price anywhere near what I paid. They wanted $5000 over and I was paying cash. Bell Auto Mall made a lot of promises but never held up to any of them. I have heard a lot of negative things about them anyway. A lot of rx-8's came into the valley the 2nd of Sept so you will start seeing more of them.

$2000 over MSRP??
Wow... that sux.
Earnhardt told me they would sell for msrp back in August, but I noticed they tacked on an additional $2000 and had an 'adjusted" MSRP.
I was hoping for $1000 over invoice, looks like that is not going to happen for a while.
Oh well... and I just put the S2000 up for sale today
I can no longer work with 2 seats, but I refuse to pay over sticker for any car... looks like I will be driving the in-law car for a while... a 95 Corolla with 70K miles that needs new struts.. not fun.

There was another thread on this: Arizona Mazda Dealers...
Some of us have been able to get the cars at MSRP or slightly better. Use the web to your advantage and if you are willing to wait on a car to be ordered and not buy one off of the floor there is no reason you should pay over MSRP!
If you use the internet you will be routed directly to the fleet sales folks and will not have to play games with a regular lot sales person. Of course you can always just ask for these folks to begin with.
