Putnam Mazda Burlingame

Putnam Mazda Burlingame
Hello All,
FYI, I got a call from a dealer that their first 8 arrived. So I went over to check it out at 10a.m.
It's black on black fully loaded with Nav. Surprisingly it did have the appearance package (some debate about hold up because of truck clearance in other threads) and the rotary accents installed. I was the only one there beyond mechanics and office folks.
I spent about 25 minutes rummaging through it and checking as many things out as I could. I drove it into the garage, feels great, the seats grab you nicely and keep you in place. I also noticed the notchy clutch, I guess that needs break-in time. Doors closed nicely, They hadn't had a chance to do PDI. First impression, the car looks meaner then the photos make it out, it has a great stance. It was fresh off the truck they didn't have a chance to clean it or install the wheel centers. The protective paper wasn't on this thing, and it was caked full of dust too, dirty black car wasn't pleasing to the eye.
This is not my car, in fact, it's not even the dealership I pre-ordered with. The dealer didn't immediately know if it was taken but he has been after me and obviously wants to make a deal. But the clearcoat black is not my thing so I will pass even though it had everything I wanted.
I did not order the Nav on my Tit Gray, now I wonder if I should have gotten it.

when you're throwing down $30 grand, make sure you get what you REALLY want. You WILL NOT regret it. Go the path of instant gratification, and you will LIKELY regret it. Plus grey looks cooler.:D

I definately ordered what I wanted, and given that we had no reliable info on the Navigation nor had I had a need for it, I chosse without. But.. if it had it, I would take it. Yet I have no regrets, I just want mine. :D
NEWS FLASH: Putnam Burlingame now received a Titanium, Silver and maybe a Red (dealer not sure if the red will continue it's journey). Guess, I'm going down there again after work.
