questions!!!!
I know I should do some research on it, but I really don't have the time , I have a lot of stuff I need to know, here
what is TSBs???
what is M flesh and why we have to do it?
what is F flesh??
you guys always talking about gas mileage, where do you see the MPG???? how do you know? just divided by 16 after a full tank??
does your shift **** shakes? I do
is there any major problem or recall on the 2004s?????
I need answers to them because I am taking it back to Menlo this Wednesday for service, and if I could I'll tell them to fix everything that is needed. THANKS FOR NOT JUST READING BUT ANSWER!

LOL !!!
Good one.
BTW, it is not necessarily true to divide by 16.
MPG = miles driven / gallons added
This, of course, is assuming you filled it completely and starting keeping a log...

make a list of your problems and hand em over to the service tech.
mpg = miles driven/gallons of fuel used
tsbs are service bulletins for service techs
m flash is the latest info for the car's computer
if there was any recall (there were 2) you would have been notified by mail and when you bring it in for service the dealer will do it for you w/o you asking.
next time dont waste other peoples time and try using the search button or reading some of the posts on the forum.
dont be a jackass and assume people will go out of their way to help you.
might i suggest that when you take your car back to menlo you leave it there since you obviously dont know anything about cars

i just read some of your past posts (OMG the search button actually works!) and your posts are perplexing.
they range from you sounding somewhat intelligent about the 8 to something like this. and supposedly you owned a vr 93 rx7...
i think you're full of it now. this post has got to be a joke or you are bi-polar.

He's full of it and a troll.
He supposedly just purchased his 8 on 5/30/04.
Now he's going in for service on 6/2/04. Huh?
I just don't get it. Why don't people have other hobbies? Or better yet, a girlfriend?

because there are people around that just won't give a newb a hand, i can say my old FD are much easier to take care of than the 8, i just have a little bit of concern of the car since it is damn new and need care and I though you 8 owners here could give me some advice on things i need to be aware of. but now this is what i get, i am so disappointed, for those of you who is reading this because you have the same problem like me, just pm me. don't ever post or ask cuz théy'll look down on you.....

Don't ever post the crap you did to start this thread - THEN you wouldn't have to be looked down on...
You're too "busy" so the rest of us should just help you out - like we are your personal assistant or something?
Give us a break junior...
I really need you to explain to us why we should help you out with such a "demand"?

Why should we help you when all you have to do is search? You don't even have to search, I'm sure if you just went into the RX-8 discussion thread, you can find all your answers there. You gotta understand newbs like you post everyday asking these questions when all they could do is spend 5 minutes searching. Why didnt you ask your dealer how to do these things? That makes you sort of ignorant in my book. And the 8 is not hard to maintain just dont do stupid things.

I feel kinda bad for newbies that come in and post some questions that we've all seen no less than a thousand times. Even though the questions seem stupid to a lot of people, like, what's mpg?, some people honestly don't know. And especially with a question like that it might be hard to search for the definition since everyone assumes it's common knowledge. I have seen the method of calculating mpg posted all over this site, so I know it's there. Also, some people assume that search functions suck. This one here is actually pretty good, so newbies, check it out. That being said, I agree that many, many started threads could be avoided by a simple search. Also, the excuse "I don't have the time to search" is pretty poor, because it gives off an air of superiority (my time is more valuable than yours), which is an attitude someone looking for info shouldn't expose.
