September 12 is the second day of Sevenstock 7 at Racing Beat. Itll be an RX-8 showcase plus the unveiling of their bodykit for you guys and the best day to purchase parts from them at a special SS7 discount.

 

I saw the new bodykit (well, at least the nose and the rear spoiler) yesterday. I was down at Racing Beat letting them test-fit a prototype carbon-fiber cold air intake shield on my Miata.

I REALLY LIKED IT. The nose is totally different than the stock nose or the MazdaSpeed nose. It loses the five-cornered "mouth" with the fake mesh grille and replaces it with two long, narrow horizontal openings... much more aggressive looking. I won't say any more -- show up at Racing Beat on Sunday Sept. 12 and see for yourself! They'll have everything including the side skirts fitted onto their Sunlight Silver 8 by then.

 

Oooookay. Lemme get this straight. Sept 11 we go to Irvine (Mazda R&D). Sept 12 we go to Anaheim (@ Racing Beat)? Is the Racing Beat part of the Official SevenStock itinerary?

So confusing.

of course i dont live in CA thats why im asking this...

but if anyone of you can drop by Racing Beat and somehow sneak a picture or two of their new bodykit for the RX8 and post it on here i will ship you a couple cases of beer....:D

 

Well, I was confused too. I know that RB has their open house on the 12th, but I did think that they were unveiling their body kit for the RX-8 on Saturday, the 11th.

I can't make it Sunday....

 

I think that Racing Beat might show the kit at the Saturday festivities.... and yes the RB Open House is an OFFICIAL part of SevenStock!
