you did lose Krazie though...so be careful...
I know of two other 8's, one a bloc over from us, and another three streets north....and I always see some at Cherry/Baseline...but they aren't on the forums. I know there are so many out there that just don't understand the culture around this car. I know I was a little surprised when I found the forum and began learning more about the car. I have to be honest, I bought the car, not knowing much about the rotary engine.

we attempted to put things back together but we're kept from being successful by the bumper retainer clips. We went to autozone, pepboys and Napa and weren't able to find any clips that would work...so we'll stop by mazda tomorrow and hopefully have better luck. Her driver's side oil cooler was bent back up into the wheel well....it was actually hitting the tire. We removed the fender wells, and bent the cooler back a bit so we could drive it home.
She had a lot of debris in her tires, and it actually took the tire off the bead in a couple of places. Had all four tires taken off and remounted. The rims are still true, so no need to replace any of the rims.
The front bumper is salvageable, I think. We'll call M1 and see what they say. I'll probably shoot them some pics by email. The driver's side side skirt is pretty much trashed. I was going to try and patch it with some of that fiberghlass repair stuff...but thought I should call M1 first...I don't want to make things worse since I have never done that before.
Still very dissapointed in what happened...I think she is still in shock from what happened.

from what I hear from her, she doesn't want people to feel wierd about bringing it up. I wouldn't shout it out, but if people are asking, I assume it would be ok to let them know what you know.
Also, the passenger side wheels were scratched all over the place...so now they are curbed as well as scratched.....

Or go with Relable rotory in Santa Ana.
You will find you need at least $2500 more to make the kit complete.
I would really say $5000 and then it's reliable, after all you need a 1500 dollar Inteceptor.
