Ahhhhh... nothing says burnt oil and gas reaking up the neighborhood at 8pm like an emmissionsless rx7 that hasn't been started for 3 weeks. Looks like I'm playing hookie to go blow off some steam at GMR tommorrow. Anybody in? Seriously, who wants to call in sick and go to GMR tommorrow. pm me if interested and we can meet up.

Yeah it was pretty awesome. I've always gone during the day and usually run into a couple imports making practice runs. Fri/Sat. nights are crazy though. It's like a scene out of Fast Furious 3. There is a ton of cars and they hang-out and make runs till sun up. I even saw a turbo miata go off of a small cliff. Thanks to a roll-cage and 5 point harness he was able to walk away without a scratch. People always talk like GMR is some sort of dangerous and treacherous death trap without a full race spec ride. But the only people who drive off of the road are the ones who don't know when to say when. It's a great road just to cruise and not push hard at all. well.. maybe just a little.

I doubt that person is on the board....it was bought used, and I doubt the guyus knows about the rotary culture or forum life surrounding the car. Have said hi to the guy couple of times, and invited him out to meets...but no go.

As for the white 8 that was mentioned about, you sure it is a guy?

I always feel like a dork when I start to wave to someone driving by in an 8, when as I get closer I realize it's an old woman or guy that stare back at me as if I'm crazy. They may be old and not that into rotarys, but at least they had enough taste to buy one.

I feel you. In one day I passed a VR in Riverside on VanBuren and made a fool of myself flashing and waving only to find a very elderly couple looking very frightened Then on the 15 in Ontario hung my hand out the window to wave to a TG only to freak another middle aged woman out and she wasted a lot of effort to keep from ever coming up next to me or passing me

....or maybe I just have that serial killer look to me

I saw you on baseline today just east of the I15. I can never miss that sweet front bumper and pink Zoom-Zoom stickers. You probably would have heard me if i weren't in the Mitsu-cruiser.

Starting to really not like Rancho. Someone stole the big brass horse that was in front of my house last night.
