Thank you all once again who came out to represent the Rotary Community. Big thanks to Mazda of Puente Hills for a great event. Just like CC, we once again made history by having the most Rotaries at MPH in one day! We filled half their show lot with Rotary Power!
Thanks once again to all of you rotor heads this event was a success because of each and everyone of you. See you all at SS16!

A BIG thank you to all that made it out. I had to leave before the raffle due to other commitments. But before I left I did a count of cars and I came up with 112. I'm sure I missed some, so I'm probably understating.
Miatas - 44
There were 19 3's & 6's broken down as follows:
Mazda 3's - 13
Mazdaspeed 3's - 5
Mazdaspeed 6's - 1
There were 49 Wanklemobiles broken down as follows
Old Schools - 4
Old School drool car (Renesis Engine for instance - 1
Repu's - 2
1st Gen's - 4
2nd Gen's - 15
3rd Gen's - 10
RX8's - 13
Raffle
There were reportedly some really great prizes given away from the Raffle. I heard a set of tires and I heard from my friend I entrusted my raffle tickets that I won a LoJack. Perhaps someone can post up some of the other prizes given away.
Show Awards
I heard Robert/FC3S91 won Best of Show Modified Mazda in a very tight vote result. I happen to know that he barely nosed out a most excellent Black RX8.
Could someone post up who/what won the other two categories?
The secret car Mazda Corporate shipped over for display was a amazingly cool Motorsport Miata. The hood wasn't open, so I'm sure it was to hide the fact that there was a Wankle under the hood.
And I'll take this moment to plug that this is a get together we do EVERY 3rd Saturday of the month. Vendors, raffles, and T-Shirts we'll probably only do once or twice a year. But you can count on free food and drinks like we had today waiting for you EVERY 3rd Saturday of the month. See y'all Saturday, September 21st.

Had a good time at the meet on Saturday, thanks Cloyde for everything you did to make that happen.
I got so busy chatting with everyone that I forgot all about voting on the car show. (there were certainly some really nice cars there)

Well, maybe not the awards, raffle, and vendors. But the free food and nice cars will be there again September 21st.
Third Saturday of EVERY month. Same time, same place. Look forward to seeing y'all there.

The MPH Meet is a year round monthly thing. Last month we simply put it on steroids to give those who didn't or couldn't make the drive out to Lancaster for MazFest an alternative if for no other reason.
Third Saturday of EVERY month, 10-2. And the food is always free, so bring your appitites.

And so you get an additional chance to show off all the 7Stock prep work you did.
As a bonus, I have access to EVERY car that drove in to 7Stock last weekend. So I'll bring my laptop so I can share.
The RX8 Race car is still on display in their lobby.
And as a bonus to your RX7 brothers and sisters, Justin Pawlak will be there with his recently completed Wankel Mean Green race car many saw on display at 7Stock. Here is a link to his web site: Justin Pawlak
Again, this is Saturday, November 16th
Monthly Mini-7Stock Meet @ Puente Hills Mazda
Puente Hills Mazda, located on Gale Ave between Azusa and Fullerton Roads across the 60 Freeway from Hacienda Heights (17723 East Gale Avenue Industry, CA 91748), is stepping up and sponsoring a great situation for all things Mazda. Thus the 7Stock comparison, just no track event. This monthly meet has been going on for one full year now.
This is on solid ground that all can count on to happen every 3rd Saturday of the month every month in 2013 and hopefully beyond.
Again, this is every 3rd Saturday of the month every month in 2013.
Show up any time around 10AM, and no one is expected to leave (but certainlyl can if they want or need to) before 3PM. These times will be the same for every meet. So easy to plan for.
OPEN BAR BQ with FREE Lunch including Hamburgers and Hotdogs.
FREE soft drinks.
And since this is EVERY month, anyone outside the area with future plans to visiting So Cal wanting to know when and where a meet is, you now have a date to build those plans around.
