Sacramento Area Where ya at???
After putting a post last time, I recieved a very few responses... Looking for other 8 owners to meet with every now and then. I was fortunate enough to meet model_no15 this week, and we had a great time checking out each others rides and ideas. So, come out of the woodwork and lets see who is close to sacramento. I'm currently in Rocklin. Hope to you and your ride soon.

Where are all the Sacramento or surrounding neighborhood people at? I see RX8 here and there but they are always driven by old ladies. Any other forum members near the Sac area. There should be a meet so we can all check out each other's rides and hang out for a bit.

I'm in W. Sac. I just picked up my 8 last weekend. No mods yet, but hopefully some on the way later this year. I'd like a chance to meet up with some other owners and talk about the cars. There's a lot I need to learn about with this car, as my previous experience has been with MR2s and this is a whole different beast.

Hey I'm out in Reno. Got my 8 a little over a month ago and have plans to start with wheels / suspension here in the coming month or so. Have a few parts on order so far, =)

Welcome everybody. I would like to get a qtrly meet going. I'm glad people have finally spoke up. Anybody that has a good idea on location, day of the week, etc. Lets PM each other or post here. It always takes awhile to get things going, but I look forward to meeting everybody.

Everyone. If your comfortable. PM me your contact info. Email or phone # would be great. I really would like to get a quarterly meet together. Including going on possible road trips every now and then to attend/meet other rx8 clubs. So please send info and ideas of where and when. Would like to make it a nice area in sacto since all of us seem to be atleast 20-30 minutes from there (except or Reno x'er )

Glad to see Sacramento area people here. I gave up on looking for peeps to meet up with until I ran into rx82hate (I was the one on my motorcycle). Lets get something going! I'm in!

So any specific dates or locations thought of yet? I know there are a few nice shopping centers out there near Fry's. Lets set this up soon I haven't been to a meet in a while. We can do a video of it like I did at the last rotary meet at treasure island.

I don't know about driving to Notomas but I'd be down for a meet a little more centralize to Sac county around Power Inn Calvine area.
I'm looking to do some upgrades soon. All I have is intake and other than that just rims and a few other body mods.
Looking for some CF goodies and then next up is either nitrous or boost, maybe some suspension goodies as well..
I've had one of the fastest street cars in Sac/NorCal for a while ('92 TSI AWD Talon 10.2@142) I went to build a single digit drag car but kinda got distracted by the 8, and my job/GF taking all my spare time.
However the 8 is nice but too too slow. Worrying about RSXs and S2000s and 350Zs and the such is embarrassing..

We will have to meet up. My parents live in Fernley and I may move up there to help them out.
Im in Stockton and we meet up all the time. We are making a run 2morrow to Santa Cruz you should all come. Maybe the central valley guys can make a run to Sac. Are there any good twisty roads in that area?
