Sweet, I beat the Supras. No excuse for being 3 secs behind ulllose though.
FYI, the BSP s2000 ran a 61.579 with Ken Motonishi driving.

Just as a comparison...there were 3 RX8's in B-stock. These were their times:
# 781 68.281 67.552 69.115+1
# 681 68.120 68.695+1 69.156+1
# 376 79.490 77.698 75.997
I'll add them to our unofficial RX-8 cup entries....

Now come on you SB guys.... I know you want to get faster so some guys in BS RX8s are not beating up on you. So come on down to SD and run, you need seat time to get fast.

BSP runs 2nd works 1st. Would be better to run SM, SM runs 6th and works 5th, the good news is TART has fun runs at the end and you don't have to work for them. You only have to be there by like 11:00 am to register for the afternoon group if you run SM.

As to whether a BSP 8 can pick up three seconds on you...I doubt it, even with big tires and light wheels. Wopuld be interesting to see what you could run in one of our cars when we get it fully setup.
San Diego is tempting. But I know I could never get Casey to go down. I already have my points card/region card...so it would just be the price of gas to get down there, and registration costs....but for Casey, I don't think he wants to make the drive.
It is an interesting thought though. Casey and I are starting to see the reasons why practice events are not all that great for us...we need to get better in 3 runs, not better in a whole day event....plus, an all day practice event would take a big chunk of life out of the V710's.
If he is willing to go down, I'm sure I culd convince Erica to go with me. Whether it be SM or BSP, I would rather get down there early and return before it was too late on a Sunday.
I'm sure Casey will have some response on this...

Jason(s), I met you guys at the Atwater Tour. I ran #781 and a friend ran #681. We did run on V710s, but looks like we're about 3 seconds off the pace. We got in a little late; figuring out registration with a new club, etc. and didn't get a chance to meet up. Let me know what run group you guys are running next time.

Hey Rick, nice to see you made it out. ULLLOSE and I almost always run BS, but ran BSP on Sunday to have fun the other 8s. Not sure if I'll make the next CalClub event, but I'll definitely be at the San Diego one this Sunday.
I was also 3 secs off the pace, time for better tires.

If I were in town I'd definitely hit the SD event, but work takes me to Iowa June 4-8. Have you guys ever run three drivers for one car with Cal Club or SDR?

Lets see some bigger pics of your sticker Jason. You changed you avatar, and curiosity is killing me...or maybe it is my poor eyesight since I can't make out the pic very well.
