幹他媽!
^ ^ like u said, in due time the truth will come out.
but, jorge is probably already having a very difficult time right now dealing with all this at work. (he hasn't posted in a few days, so that's a clear sign.) it's ok for us to debate and discuss the issues. and, i know he needs to vent a bit too. but, we should support him like good friends ought to.
plus, there is no way shape or form jorge is responsible for anything IMB did. it's their highest level of management that made errors leading to what happened. he is victim along with all the employees.
i can atest to this, because that's kinda what happened at my company. 500+ employees lost their jobs because new line's upper management mismanaged the company in many ways- fumbling the international revenues for the Golden Compass and other films. plus our CEO's basically burned bridges and exerted egos and destroyed important relationships. (Peter Jackson, J.R. Tolkien's estate.) me and the other 500+ employees had nothing to do with this. we were at work each day hard at work doing our jobs making sure everything was getting done- ie so that successful movies like Sex & the City, Journey 3D etc. would get to market on time and in good order. who knew at the top all this BS was going on making Time Warner ready to crumble us?
when it comes to george w. chimpanzee bush though- ugh, don't even get me started. his administration used the housing bubble to artificially sustain growth in the otherwise declining u.s. economy. they used devaluation of u.s. currency as a way to increase exports to fund the war in iraq. all the while, we control an oil producing country and gas is pushing $6 a gallon and all of bush's oil tycoon friends are wiping their asses with $100 bills. to go even further- the fact that we have 2 lousy candidates running for oval office is also his fault. because, if things weren't so bad, we might actually have more competent candidates in play.

There were competent canidates on both sides. Neither of them were voted in on the primaries.
Jorge knows me. What I say is what he gets everyday day now. He knows I don't blame him but his customers do.
We all feel sorry for him but he doesn't know the truth.
In the long run he will be glad he has experienced this. That's the truth.
He will be a better man. We all become better when we experience hardships.
That's a fact of life.

As for not knowing the truth; I won't get into that but lets just say that I know more then I can say now. I stand by IMB, it's management team, and the decisions we made over the years.

A friend of mine had his 40th B-day, and he invited us to go to the game w/ him.
I said yes, and he handed me 2 tickets. (I was expecting to pay my own way)
Anyways, we got there and I handed the tickets to the girl at the turnstyle, and she said, "Oh, you need to go through that door," and pointed us towards a lobby.
We went in the lobby and looked at the tickets, turns out we were in a suite.

I know it's just a local game, but it was cool sitting up in the suite, and I'm sure they weren't cheap.
There was a bunch of food and drinks already there and at the end we got a visit from Quake himself.
We went to his party, but it felt like we got the gifts. It was pretty cool.

FYI - The Quakes stomped the Mavericks. 10 - 1. They even had a grandslam.

2 more days
Docs were submitted today
Once they come back in 2 days (which means 4 days) then I get to go sign my life away.
This has been one of the most annoying processes I have ever been through in my life. I can't believe they make it SO hard to get a house. You figure they would be fastlane-ing anybody with good credit right now. But NOOOoooooo. A bunch of fools are getting booted from their houses making it tough for the banks to say 'yes' anymore.

My 2nd choice was the Plantronics Discovery 925.
I actually went to Best Buy and got the Plantronics. I liked it, and used it when we were in Vegas.
It has some noise cancelling, but nothing close to the Jawbone. It was very comfortable.
My plan was to buy it at Best Buy to test it. Then I was going to buy it from eBay, because it's about half the price.
I decided since I was just test driving, I wanted to compare it to the Jawbone2.
Well, it didn't take much to decide on the Jawbone 2 even though the price difference is significant. I bought it new from ebay for $115 shipped.
You can probably find a Plantronics on ebay for around $70.
Or, you could give your dad your Jawbone, and buy the new one.

The Mazda RX-8 Speedsource #70 wins again! They are just 14 points away from the championship Team and Driver and 17 points from the manuf. championship with just 3 races to go!
That would be awesome if the Speedsource Team and Car were at SS this year!
