I wouldn't say I had a boring weekend, just nothing too exciting.

I pulled glue off the foundation to prep for the new floor.
I got a fridge, they are heavy, thank goodness for neighbors.
stopped by the storage unit and grabbed a couple more boxes of stuff.
Killed some weeds that were crying "feed me seymour"
Bought a carniverous plant, a rose bush, and a shovel.
Blew up a hose, we have SUPER water pressure.
Gathered more trash from the back yard.
Smoked a brisket for the guys at the shop. (I got the hook up on a shop now)
Painted an MR2 in the front yard
Washed my car
Pulled some baseboards
. . . . . . . . . . and I think that is about it

Haha...

I'm going there today to pickup the kit.
They actually make them in Oklahoma, but they ship the mold kits from Upland.

back in the land of the working folk today.....first day of work today and doing the same thing I was doing last year..ho hum.

kids start next wednesday, so I get a week of just looking busy and sitting around in different inservices. But then again, this is the same as last year as well so to be expected.

Congats on the trophy Jessie. Now you have something to put up next to your calendars at work. Hopefully it is something cool and not just a keychain like they gave out one month.....or that other month where they handed out small orange cones.

I really liked the Dare. Played w/ it for a while.
It's a battery hog though so make sure you keep a charger at work.

Well, if I'm using the mapping software, the battery drains pretty quickly.
When I have it in the car as my gps, I have it plugged in.
When I'm at work, it's connected to the pc because I have software that mirrors the phone screen onto the desktop.
I send emails/txt and browse the internet through the phone, but using the desktop to display it, so, it's basically charging all day.
My wife, on the other hand, doesn't charge it throughout the day.
She uses it for texting/internet/calls, and can use it all day.
Definitely need to charge it every night anyways.

Your iPhone actually has a pretty good battery life.
If you can, try going an entire day w/o using it. Maybe on a weekend that you're busy w/ house stuff.
You'll probably be suprised at how much battery you have left.
If I don't use the phone much, I can unplug it at 6am and not charge it until 9am the next day.
If you shut the phone feature off (flight mode) like when you're on a plane, the phone will hold a charge for over a week.
The biggest battery drain, besides GPS, is the phone searching for cell towers.

for me, reliability is more important than performance. so, i am happy dealing w/ the lack of "stuff" on the 8 for now. but, i'm excited to vicariously live thru u guys' mods.

I'm still very interested in the turbo but I have a few things I want to finish up first.
ALTHOUGH, the "sleeper" look would be kinnda fun.

i would not mind having one.
i just don't like the thought of
having to watch gauges while i'm driving.
if they had a kit where i did not need a row
of gauges then would think about it more serious..
