I just want some dents removed, I don't want my paint removed.

Gerry....at least you were lucky enough to be there when the kid dented your door. I assume he is paying for it?

Working at schools = dents all the time. I have Travis on speed dial. He does plenty of work for me.

Remember when Snowfl8k almost flipped....? Well, turns out that there was a huge dent on the lower edge of the car (from when it rested on the embankment on a bed of rocks). Had a quote from a paint/body place for over a grand. Travis spent about 5 hours and took it out. 200 bucks for his day of work. Expensive, but much cheaper than the alternative. We were trading the car in the following week. Travis is in the riverside area, so I doubthe would drive all the way out to you.....but he definately would be willing to meet up out this way.

Forza Monday.

You definitely need your coffee.
I posted that on the last page.
Did you even see the pics I posted?

BTW - I'm making a new rom for you. I tried about 8 different one's this
weekend, and finally got one w/ a working S2U2 and a better cube.

saw the pics, NICE!! I knew about the meet, just didn't know it was nicknamed Coffee and Cars. I still can't believe the Irvine Company was stupid enough to kick those guys out of Crystal Cove. Well, actually, yeah I can.

new rom?! exciting!!

Ok. i called Dent Wizard this am after contacting the dealership. he's the on-site guy for Rusnak Mercedes of Pasadena... Only problem is he never called me back

I thought about it and just made an app't for tomorrow at Seidners in Alhambra. they've done paintless dent removal on my bmw before. and, the work was fairly decent. i have a feeling the Dent Wizard guy is probably better, since Rusnak is a "rich people" and higher-end dealership. but, it's pointless and no help to me if he doesn't return phone calls. Seidners also is more convenient for me, because they will drop me off in the am, whereas I'd have to arrange for a ride if I went to Rusnak.

<shrugs>

Update: Ok, Dent Wizard finally called me back. So, I cancelled my appointment at Seidners and decided I will give them a try. Rob told me that in addition to Rusnak Mercedes & Audi, he regularly services the Bentley, Ferrari, and Lambo dealers in the LA area. He assured me that he does top quality work and that I have nothing to worry about. I asked the service lady at Rusnak Mercedes if he does good work, and she told me Rob fixed the dings in her car & he did a fantastic job. So, I'm cautiously optimistic at this point.

So, am going to bring the 8 in tomorrow morning for outpatient surgery. He said it will take an hour tops, and that I can just wait for the car and not have to worry about arranging for a ride drop-off/ pickup, which is nice.

I will let everyone know how it goes. <fingers crossed> :P

yah, he said he'd pay for it. if mom & dad can pay for a $60k car, i'm sure they can pay $100 for ding repair. lol. maybe they need to pay also for some driving/ parking lessons while they're at it...

Dent Wizard Rocks! :)

It's 7am Tues and I'm at Rusnak Mercedes Pasadena right now getting ding fixed by Dent Wizard. Will post pix later. They quoted me $100 just for the door, which I needed to get an invoice for since the guy from the 626 meet is supposed to reimburse me... I gave him a $20 tip for that, and I also paid a little separately and had him take care of some other minor dings that I hadn't even noticed until we surveyed the car all over.

Update: Robert did a fantastic job and he works very fast. Less than 30 minutes and I was on my way home.

Dent Wizard services all locations in Southern California. Check their website (listed below) and input your zip code to find the nearest car dealership in your neighborhood. Then call the dealership to find out what days of the week they are there and to schedule an appointment. Basically, it's $100 per panel- but they have some discretion and will discount if you have a bunch of stuff done together like I did.

For people in my neighborhood, Robert is at Rusnak Mercedes Pasadena in their service bay area every Tuesday and Thursday from 7am to 12pm. Rusnak Mercedes is just west of Old Town Pasadena at Colorado Blvd & St. John right across from Ralph's Market.

Quite possibly, even more lame than it looks.
However, because there are cars going fast, I'll will go see it.
But there is no way I'm paying a full price movie ticket for that.
It's next summer, so we can plan a Drive-in Meet again.

I'm in the same boat. It looks awful but I just love cars.
