HATE the design, hate the color on the car. The color isn't bad, just looks like $hit on the GT-R. (imo)

i think it looks kinda bland in silver. but, the orange looks nice. i also saw a Lexus IS-F in black on the road. i used to hate the double stacked exhausts, but with the chrome finish on black it's not half bad.

A slower and more likely to break rotary, YES.
(look at all the problems 04 Autos have)
Besides, its' hot out where Kevin lives and having only 1 oil cooler on the Auto is a big

yeah, I don't an issue with people prefering Automatics My last Mazda was an Auto and my Explorer is an auto.
the RX-8 is very different though. Different transmission = DIFFERENT engine. It's not truly an apple to apple comparison when you consider that it has LESS HP, a LOWER redline, is noticably slower then it's M/T brothers, AND then you add on the reliability issues that come with only having ONE oil cooler!!
One of the greatest things that attracted me to the RX-8 is the 9,000 rpm redline. The sound of the engine, the extra power when the last ports open at almost 7,000 rpm, and the exhilirating feeling you get as you go screaming past 8500 rpm!! I guess it's more then just the transmission, it's the EXPERIENCE that comes with an M/T RX-8.
