oh joy do you hear the excitemnet in my voice what could be so exciting at 1:00 in the morning. i just found out that my main water line from the street before it attaches to the house broke. i was going to yosemite this weekend and in order to do that i have to take tomorrrow off to repair it. anyone ever use a repair service locally. i will probably dig it up and take a look at it in the morning to see if i can fix the problem other wise i get to shell out some bucks. anyone want to come play in the mud with me? not to mentions there is no water for everyone to get ready in the morning and all the toilets get one fluash. at least it wont be hot tomorrow oh wait it has been hot all week. ok rant done till i find out more

yeah, that location would mean it is up to you.....is it in the grass area, or are you going to have to pull up concrete?
Damn, that must have been a rude awakening.
We used a repair company when we had our flood. I would advise you to call your home insurance company and report to them what happened. You may be surprised to find that it may be covered, or at least partially covered. If it is, they will contact a shop for you and set things up. I would suggest doing that before you even call a shop or try to fix it yourself.

I talked to him a little while ago.
Seems it's not that major. Some glue came loose and a cap popped off.
He's re-gluing it, and going to wait an see.
Calling the home owners insurance is a good idea if it becomes major, but you
need to find out what they cover, so when you explain it, it falls into what they consider "covered".
Also, I have a friend who lives in Upland that just started his own plumbing business.
If he's got to pay out of pocket, I told him I got the hookup.

yeah, from that pic, looks like all the blue glue is gone from the section that seperated....but boy, did they do a rediculous job on that line. Great thing about track homes man, sometimes they subcontract out to the lowest bidders. A jar of blue cement should do the trick.
I know we have rediculous water pressure on our house, and I'm surprised that all the sprinkler heads don't pop off everytime the water kicks on to water the grass.

fortunately that looks like an easy fix. I agree, some of the work on track homes is absolutely ridiculous!

幹他媽!
srry 2 hear about that Loren... Hope u get it taken care of... New homes often have such issues. Contactors & their subs just rush in & rush out. A lot of these kinds things show up later...

Send him to the middle east and tell him the terrorist laugh at his computer skills. He'll wipe them out in a few days.
Stealth's comment was funny.

it is not always good to have a guy like that, even if he's on your side....cause, remember, he's gonna be walking around with a loaded gun, and a reasonable excuse, blaming it on friendly fire.....
