Beach BBQ meet

since the monthly meets are slowly dwindling down maybe we should set up a "christmas run" to bolsa chica beach, and barbecue on the beach and have a good time.... we could leave at like 1-2 pm, and hang out at the beach all day..... or sooner...maybe second week of november, since it will be warmer........

so who's down for a meet to the beach and bbq?

i like it, i would be down, just curious why is bolsa chica always the beach to meet at, is it less crowded?
I am busy on the 8th and the 22th is too close to turkey day for most people.

that's a great idea! Either Bolsa Chica or H.B. would be perfect

Because it has a gigantic parking lot

We have a couple BBQ's there each year with the Toyota crowd.
Someone usually needs to get there before noon to secure a BBQ pit.

Never fear guys, Emilie lives in H.B. so I could be there first thing to grab us a pit.

ill wait untill everyone chimes in so we can pick an exact day.... then we can create a new thread specifically for it, so other people can join

I think speeddemon was mentioning something about idyllwild at the last meet but I'm really down for whatever. I am pretty much free any weekend in November.

Sweet, your company moves to the new building today?
Do you guys have someone packing and moving stuff for you or do you do it yourself?
Hey, now you're less than 6.5 miles from work.

Hmm... You could bike to work.

It's actually kind of funny how close they moved from where they were.
They were in an older building, now they have a brand new building.
Much nicer, and I'm sure more room.
You know how big those drafting tables are at architect companies.

Look at this google map of how far they moved.

no corner office but a better interior view to a window. yeah that is the correct locaitons it was 9 miles by bike to work. the new office is NEW!! and has more space but not enough (i think). we are paking all our stuff in boxes and throwing all the trash out but we dont actully move anything. monday we get to unpack. oh yeah we get off at noon today as well.
