Fortunately, the lovely Santa Ana winds moved it West, away from my house.

Well it looks like your house on the news Cesar....glad it ended up being nothing. But I'm watching live coverage over there right now and wow I'm amazed how windy it is there. I didn't even now it was windy, and I'm thinking of going to San Manuel right now I don't like driving in that wind.

I don't see a fire. Nice pic! Where'd you take it from? work?

omg, those SmartCars are TINY!!! I was at the OC AutoShow and they had a few of them over near the Mercedes display but the Smart Cars were LOCKED!!!
Fortunately it was a convertible and since I have long arms, I reached in and opened the door. Damn alarm went off!!
Some old geezer walks over and is pissed at me for opening it.

I looked at him and said, "I just sat in a $145,000 S65 yet I can't look at the inside of this piece of ****?! You guys are more retarded then I originally thought"
He was not amused.

Plenty of wind at my house this morning.
Not as strong as last night, but still windy.

On a seperate note, I went to see an orthopedic surgeon last night about my knee.
Trying to get a custom fitted knee brace.
Check out these cool x-rays.

I am getting a custom knee brace.

CEL came back the next day in Vegas. I figured out it was coming on when the car was cold.
I drove home from Vegas w/ the CEL. Drove to work the next day w/ the CEL, then it went away, and hasn't returned.
I'm not too worried about it.

that's weird. I wouldn't worry too much, when we do your stereo install, we'll be checking the grounds so no biggie.

Grats on getting approval for that knee brace, hopefully that'll help you out.

No case for the carpc yet.
The company that sells the one I want, which is out of stock, has not responded to my email and they don't list a phone #.

Should get the kit this week.

link to the case? What's so special about this one? (I figure there's gotta be a reason you're holding out for it)

Here's the case I'm trying to buy.http://www.bybyte.com/2din0308.htm

It's the only place I've seen that makes a double-din Mini-itx case.
This will fit where the Metra kit goes.
On the front of the case you can mount the 7" touchscreen lcd.
