man, seeing the calendar page posted here makes me realize that loren and I haven't been spending evenings together with snicker-doodle cookies and calendar pages.....it is going to suck to not have a calendar this year.
Brought it up (slightly joking) with Speed and we thought we could have a calendar with everyone's current cars or project cars (Miata or Jakes MR2 project)......Erica than (extremely joking) was excited at the prospect of having a 99 chevy Blazer, which leaks oil and overheats even in the winter....for her month in October

I was actually thinking about the possibilty of not having a calendar this year.
I think we should branch out a bit this year since we've lost so many 8's.
How about opening it up to members in the SoCal area who just want a kick *** calendar. There's plenty of great looking cars in our area. Yeah, they don't come to our meet but I'm sure we'd get some awesome RX-8's in there.

If we start this week, I'm sure we can have pics in 2 weeks or so. Even if we get the calendars done in January, I would still be up for it.
I can make a thread in the West section and then just watch the submissions start rolling in.
We can give priority to the people here and then fill any open spots with other locals.
It's up to you though Loren, since at the end of the day it'll be you (and / or keith) doing most of the work.

Santa was in my car,
look what he left.
Of course, I'm santa, and this is what I bought during lunch.
The 2 games are going on ebay when I get home.
After I transfer my stuff to the new hard drive, the old xbox360 is going on ebay.
Also, I have Rockband 1 and plus a brand new set of drums (old style) and a new Rockband 2 to sell.
look what he left.

I'm not selling everything. I selling the extras.
I have Rockband 2 don't need Rockband 1.
I have the new drum set, don't need the old drum set.
I have an extra copy of Rockband 2 from the Bundle. Selling the extra game.
I have an extra Xbox360, because I bought the new Elite, so I'm selling the system.

cesar, would like to have the lego game if you are willing to take some cash....?
how much did you pick up an elite for? Not that I need one, but having a larger hard drive would be nice...only have 2.3 gb left on mine....

also....would recommend keeping the extra system....you haven't experienced a red ring yet, but having the extra box is a necessity in my house...I've gone through too many boxes at this point. Heck...I'll give you 60 bucks for your extra one I could use the hard drive at least for a back up.

That's why I plan to sell it.
I've never had a RROD, and if I do get one, I'll buy a "loaner" system from Costco, and then return it when I don't need it.
They have a special this week. Buy a game system, and get a $40 Target gift card.
The bundle was $399 + tax total was $429.87. However, I have a $40 gift card, so it's really like $389.27
If I sell the games for a total of $35, and my old system for $130, that brings my cost down to $224.
Plus, as I mentioned, extra Rockband stuff to sell should get me about $70 more.
You're right about lunch time, but I left early because when I looked at Target online, there was only 2 stores that had "Limited Availability."
I went to the local Target because it was listed as available, and they had 1 left.
Now, that store shows Out of Stock.

damn, that sounds like a good deal Cesar.....maybe after christmas I could look to upgrade my system, or at least the one I use the most.....I'll have to wait and see if Santa brings me anything xbox related.
I'll grab the Lego game from you for 20. I have no interest in the Kung fu panda game, but if you still have that Macdonald's toy, I'll throw in a bick foir that....

Those do bring back some memories....wow......did I say WOW, cause WOW....
speaking of wow....reminds me that I need to start working on some graphic design options for the new season coming up. I'll mess around a bit on Forza and come up with something. I assume we will be losing Super Shops.....do you anticipate keeping Amsoil, Pirate and Yellowjacket....will any of them be picking up a larger sponsorship for the hood?
