zootender: I think I still have the OEM front license plate holder. Are you going to the drive on the 31st? If so, I'll bring it with me and I can probably install it on your car in about 60 seconds.
Zip ties won't pass the inspection.

But hot glue will.
It will stick the plate to the bumper, and removes cleanly

Lesper4, this thread moves really quick, so shoot me a PM on either 7club or 8club if you still want the jackstands and are able to pick them up (preferably within the next month), or you'd like to meet up somewhere. I would really hate to waste a good pair of jackstands, so I'm willing to hold on to them for a while, but not until March's meet.

I was thinking of just using zip ties to attach it to the front grill but do not know if that will pass for the police department. Yes, I got a ticket for no front plate.
Hey Zoo, I got Nino's message, but we were still in Vegas, and I forgot to call back.
I remembered this morning, but then I saw your post.
I have the mounts for the front plates. No holes need to be drilled.
You can attach the plate, and get it signed off.
I'll call Nino later and talk to him.

Oh yeah, I could bring them to the memorial cruise if you're going to that.

Anyone have a front license plate bracket they don't need?
I talked to Zootender's husband.
Apparently, the ticket was given to her near the kid's school, where she drives to everyday.
She doesn't want to hassle w/ this waste-of-space/poor-excuse-for-a-human/cop that has
nothing better to do and hangs out there all the time, so she's going to leave her plate on.
The Stealership wants $55 for the piece of plastic, and I figured someone has got to have one they will never use.
I'm only keep mine because I've had 2 tickets.
I figured this thread has more ex-8 owners, maybe someone still has their old bracket.
