How much does the 30k or 45k service cost?
They were going to charge me $400 just to deflood the car and change the plugs!
Any idea what Charles R Hill charges for plugs? arent they like $75 for 4 reguarly? Is it worth looking to get new wires at all?

i guess it's all based on an individual's perception of the place....unless of course, it just sucks collectively as a whole

thought you xbox guys would get a laugh out of this:
CINCINNATI (AP) — A Yale University student from Ohio has filed a lawsuit seeking $1 million from US Airways for a video game console he says was taken from his luggage.
Twenty-one-year-old Jesse Maiman alleges that during a flight from New Haven, Conn., to Cincinnati in December, his Xbox 360 with a specialized hard drive disappeared from his luggage.
Maiman says he got what he called "an unconscionable run-around" from the airline. He's asking $1,700 for the loss of the gaming system and for the maximum damages allowable, or $1 million.
Maiman filed the suit Monday in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court.
A US Airways spokeswoman said the airline was unaware of the suit but noted that the government limits liability for lost luggage to $3,300 per bag.

changing out the plugs is easy. You'll need spark plug socket, ratchet, at least a 6 inch estension on the ratchet and u joint if youv'e got one.
Jack up front left of car, throw in jack stand
remove wheels
straight ahead are the plugs.
don't forget to put some anti seize on the spark plug thread, auto zone has little packets of the stuff for free.

Loren, I wouldn't worry about plug wires. My car had 86k miles on it with the factory plug wires. I didn't change plugs either, probably would have around 100k. I did get new plugs with the flooding TSB though, probably around 30k miles.
I still would recommend that you have the service done at the dealer, but that will be the last time I say anything....just want to see you protect your investment as much as you can.

I can't imagine how he would think he could file a claim for that amount. It is nice to know the limits that are in place though, 3,300 per piece of luggage. I've brought back things that were more valuable than 3300, so would have sucked to lose those.
An xbox with a "specialized hard drive" wtf is that......

ninja please....haha, that's hilarious!
Yeah, that Yale retard needs to check back into the "real world" where "specialized harddrives" are not worth $1 Million dollars.

Man arrested in deadly Ferrari crash
Man arrested in deadly Ferrari crash
NEWPORT BEACH – A man has been arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter in connection with a crash with a red Ferrari early this morning, in which another man was killed and a woman was injured, authorities said.
Jeffrey David Kirby, 51, of Costa Mesa is in Newport Beach police custody in lieu of $1 million bail on a count of gross vehicular manslaughter after a police officer reportedly witnessed him fleeing the scene of a collision involving the Ferrari and a white 1977 Porsche just before 1 a.m. at southbound Jamboree Road, near Camelback Street.
The officer told authorities that Kirby was driving the Porsche alongside the Ferrari when the red car hit a curb and then a light pole, which toppled onto the luxury Italian sports car. The officer said the driver of the Porsche stopped momentarily, but continued driving.
The officer came to the aid of the crash victims and requested help in finding the Porsche.
Officers found the Porsche on Bison Avenue, a few blocks away. Kirby and a woman, Lynn Marie Nobozny, 32, of Newport Beach were seen walking away from the vehicle, police said.
Nobozny was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication and was later released.
Southbound Jamboree Road between North Eastbluff Drive and Bison is closed. The roadway is not expected to open until around noon.
Firefighters declared a man dead at the scene, initially said to be the driver, although authorities have not confirmed that. His name was not immediately released.
A female victim believed to have been an occupant was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana after the accident, authorities said. Her condition was not immediately known, although police said her condition has since stabilized.
Skid marks could be seen along the roadway leading up to the site of the crash. The rear of the car came to rest more than 30 feet away from the front end.
The Porsche had moderate damage, indicating that it had collided with the Ferrari, authorities aid.
Early City News Service reports said the Ferrari appeared to be a GTB Fiorano, an all-aluminum V12 with a top speed of 205 mph and a price tag of about $300,000, but police later confirmed the model was a 2004 Modena.
Motorists using Eastbluff are asked to use caution as schools are in the surrounding area.
