go with the 18x8 or 18x9, either one will look awesome.
I thought you were a chrome guy though?

what size are you looking at Michael? 18's, 19s? Are you wanting to go staggered, or have all four wheels/tires the same size.
My only warning about wheels with polished or machined lips, make sure you buy from a reputable company or you'll end up with a crappy finish in a year or two...especially since you are forced to park outside. Even Axis is a popular company now, but the wheels tend to get dull over a short period of time due to reaction to the elements (and being parked outside overnight every night will only speed up that process).

of the ones Loren posted, I like the 1st one the best.
I like the Black Enkei rpf1's the best but they're a bit pricey. (think Keiths' old track wheels but all black. sexy!)

also, those wheels will not support TPMS...is that important to you Michael, will you be able to stare at the TPMS light while you drive...and deal with the annoying beep every once in a while?
Enkie is a great company, Both Casey and I had the Enkie RPF1....which I think is the best wheel available for the RX8. I know that they made an all black model as well, or you could buy a nice used set off of the for sale section, and then take and have them powder coated.
18x7 will not be a good size for the RX8. You will not be able to run the tire width you are currently running....you may have to go to a skinnier/narrow tire. Stock wheel is 18x8 +50.

im thinking of going 19's since i still can't lower the car.
19's might fill in some of the gaps.. same all the way round..
jedi you just have xpensive taste bro.
which is not a bad thing for that special look.

just be aware, also, if you go with a rim style that has a machined/polished lip ( a 2 piece design), that an 18 inch wheel will look more like a 16.5 to 17 inch wheel.....this is why I went with 19 inch wheels for my car because of the lip. Loren did post pics of two wheels that have lips, and two that don't. Many people do not realize this until too late.

my wheels would be perfect if you are not planning on lowereing your car.
speaking of lowering your car when i got my first pair of s-tech spings they were $150 now you are lucky to get those for $230.
See you tonight for tennis keith.

19s will actually make it worse Michael...take it from me, I know. I put on the 19s and the very next mod was lowering springs. Putting a bigger rim, with a smaller tire just makes the gap between the top of the wheel and the fender more noticeable. You'll kick yourself even more about the fender gap if you go 19s.

The one thing I learned by owning this car, is a performance car requires performance attention. My Volks were heavier and taller than stock, great for bling bling, but not great for the car. I loved the way the RPF1s looked, even with skinny race rubber. I was actually going to mount a set of Falken Azenis to them when we had the thought of keeping the Snowfl8k.
GREAT wheels.
