wow...that is bad news. I hope the female involved wasn't one of the ring girls.

well speaking of wheels i really like that last look i sent you.
i think it will makes the car more aggressive looking, not like the
prissy little rims i have now.. i really like the way those prissy rims
shine when they are clean, but thats when they are clean..
thats one of the reason for the new look i want.
im tired of dirty looking rims two days after i wash..
but that red trim looks mean on that black

do it Michael, it'll be awesome!
You're not allowed to put all season tires on them though, that's what the Millenia is for

make sure you get black lugs.....red lugs never are red for very long, and some red lugs actually look pink.

Yes, because it was amazing what happened at such low speeds....and your tires didn't look bad when you just eye balled em.

AddictiveRX had a bad incident on the freeway as well.

I like the wheels, just not for him, and his car. Wheels are like buying an expensive tie, you can spend little to alot, but ultimately is needs to fit your style....I just don't see these on Michael's car. Maybe without the red time attack trim?

Sizing and pricing looks good. And i also like the fact that they are not 2 piece wheels with a lip. I hate seeing 18 inch wheels with lips on RX8s.

That same wheel in gunmetal or dark grey, without the red lip, I think would look perfect on his 8.

[edit] just looked at the other colors available for that wheel and they only offer a machined anthrocite....that is not the color I was thinking of (would be too much like the rim and look he is trying to get away from), but too bad they don't offer it in a darker grey (think of the finish on the R3 wheels).

yeah, I don't know about the red lip on a blue car. I know someone on here has that look but I couldn't find the thread.

Although, at the end of the day: as long as Michael likes them I'll be happy. Who knows, maybe it's just something I need to see in person.
Michael: you don't still have your orange side markers on do you? If you do, you HAVE to put clear corners in or the orange will clash with the red.

Keith didyou see my comment about the thread tags?

yes, saw the info on tags.

or, I could cover your side markers in red vinyl like I did for the set I had on my car for awhile, and that Loren now has.

that Enkie wheel comes in an 18x7, and an 18x8....also 19's as well, but I think he is wanting to stay with stock sizing.

I say stick with 18's. 19's are usually a big jump in price and the tires are not exactly cheap.
