lol, alright. i'll skip out on the bushings. i wasn't going for anything high end. i was just interested in replacing the stock bushings with a new set of stock replacement bushings, lol.
and, in terms of quotes for the suspension, i've been to two different shops, and for what i asked of them...Eibach Pro series springs, Tein shocks, front and rear strut bars, and a caster/camber kit, one quoted me at $750, the other at $700. Not sure if they have an alighnment thing going on though. but, i can get my alignment done at Firestone since i got the lifetime alignment thing there for my car.
I asked them if i were to get my car lowered if it would void the lifetime alignment, and they told me that it wouldn't.

I know Speed feels bad about the amount of times he has used the lifetime alignment already, but they did say you could bring it in every week if you wanted. I know they say that to make you feel you're getting a good deal, but they probably don't expect someone to actually bring it in that often

I hope those quotes were with springs, and included the alignment. Please check. This would help Speed and I come up with a good price. Given that you have free alignment with Firestone, that is perfect....takes that cost and makes it zero

the more things change
i had talked to a guy at american tires and he said
he could give me a better price, so i said ok quote me the
price. well after all the other stuff that i needed it came
out to fifty bucks less then tire rack. and thats
without tpms switched so i just stayed with tire rack.
the wheels and tires will come already to put on the car,
i won't have to anywhere. i can put them on as soon as i get them...

ha ha.
no, I should have left enough meet around the holes. I coulda drilled more / bigger, but I tried to kep them strong as well.
I did however taper the holes a bit to make the silver stand out... that was done for the prettyness.

@Speed
What did you use to drill them?
I was looking at the hole patterns, and they look very even.
Obviously it wasn't done freehand.
Looks nice.

My wife is being induced at 4:00a.m. tomorrow I will be a daddy!
I used a Michrometer to make sure the holes were perfet. it took a lot of time, but is very important that they are perfect. (for balance)
I used a punch to ensure the hole started in the EXACT right spot.
I used a drill press with a tiny bit to get a pilot hole.
then moved to a larger bit to drill the rest.
then an even larger bit to taper the holes.
then a camera to take pictures.
The crank pulley was sent with my dad to get machined. (cutting off the front half of the pulley).
