I recommend putting this off for a week...maybe then, the movie will be confirmed with a time/showing info...we can get more interest here,a nd will give people enough time to see what we have planned.

That is my suggestion.

Heck, second saturday of the month is coming, may just roll it into the meet or something like that and get some of the RX7 guys to come as well.

Actually, it is playing at Van Buren.
The website doesn't say so, but I called to check.
Screen 2 is F&F at 8PM and Last House on the Left at 10PM.

Keith has a good point though.
Next Saturday is the meet, you could make it a evening meet, and since it's on a Saturday, you may get more people.

i just called as well, neither of the websites are up-to-date but they are both showing the movie. I dont care what day we do it, i just think it would be fun to all go like we have done in the past. We need Casey or jesse to chime in and make that decesion as they usually organize the saturday meets. This was relly hap-hazaderly organized.

I just got my State Tax refund and couldn't help but laugh at the little note attached to it.

The State of California extends its deepest gratitude to you and others who endured a delay in receiving your hard-earned tax refunds. A global recession combined with a months-long impasse over how to address a $42 billion budget deficit produced a cash crisis not seen since the Great Depression. With insufficient funds in the Treasury to meet payments coming due, the State was regrettably forced to delay tax refunds and other disbursements to preserve cash for education, debt service and other payments determined by the Constitution, court ordered and federal law to have first priority on available cash. The recently-enacted budget has reduced the immediate cash flow problem to a manageable level allowing payments to resume. Again, thank you for your patience and understanding during this fiscal emergency.
translation: thanks for letting us earn MORE interest on your money because our state is retarded, over spent by BILLIONS, and then just f00ked you out of MORE taxes so we could pay you your own money back.

why april rocks for me:

$5K - income taxes - due 4/15
$2.1K - property taxes - due 4/10
$1.5K - auto insurance - due 4/20
$1.6K - mortgage - due 4/15
$2K - cc bill - due 4/20 (bought furniture for my mom- being the good son that i am)

and that doesn't include all my other **** bills.

**** me!

p.s. i wonder if the IRS and/ or the LA County Tax Assessor's office will accept a friggen spider drawing with 9 legs. cuz i'd be happy to deliver one in person if they'll take in in lieu of everything else.

not coming tonight guys.....

..as for next Saturday, the problem you'll run into is trying to adjust the meet time...as it is in the mornings and has been since the meets started.

So, you'll probably end up with locals going to both, the meet and the movie...and those who aren't local showing up for one or the other.

so, i saw the opening show of F&F last night. and, all i'm going to say to everybody here who's watching it tonight, is that it's an AWESOME movie! by far, it's the best F&F movie of the four.
