sorry to hear about the spill jess... at least it wasn't serious. it's funny how the SB meet and the 626 meet are now overrun by EVO's... lol both started out as rotary meets. :P

...feel bad for you with your last run group given no time.....my last run group was plagued by red flags as well....having to run nat night without my glasses, and my inability to rev match at those tire chicanes.....that sweeper in front of the crowd was fun though, hugging that inside line and not even hearing a peep out of the tires....
found driving with the top up to be a different experience. I was talking to ERica about this on the way home, definately felt like a different car to me being underneath that verte top.....or maybe that weird feeling was from all the black widow bites from all the spiders that are proibably living in that thing still......
...all those other guys out there with all that horse power and no tires....to think how much fun they would have if they just spent a little on better rubber.
...Jessie could shatter records with better tires...even the race pros were making the same comments when they were giving the driver instructions to the second run group.

ghost....you need to get out to that little track some time. It was definately some fun and inexpensive to do. 25 bucks for the hour and we all got three sessions of 3 laps each.
Cheaper than an autocross, no work assignments afterwards....a no brainer in my book.

must be nice to only do an oil change once a YEAR. 2005 with only about 9,000 miles.

yeah, I know we have been that close for years now. I still ejoy when we are that close. I dont like it when either one of us beats the other by a lot.
I didnt even notice the top up once racing... I wonder if you noticed the night time more then the top? hmmm.... I dont know. jsut strange that once racing I didnt even notice, but you did.
yes, If Jesse were to get Kumhos or Hoosiers he would be faster, but I gotta say that those Dunlops he has are pretyt freakin sweet. I drove it last tiem and he had a lot of grip! i was very suprised and impressed. I don thtink there is much more then .5 - 1 second if he were to switch.

but being one of the big fish in a small pond is fun to, no working before or after is also a major bonus. more seat time as well! reasonable cost. passengers allowed.... it is very nice as well. I just hope they keep this up for a while at least. Its was a nice change of pace.
so does that mean you want to do it again?

the 102 sounds like fun. No way I'd live through a 100+ mile ride but if you can do it, more power to ya Loren.
We have to get our shots in while we can.![Big Grin](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
So when's Gerry going to mod his 8? Hanging out with the 626 crowd, I'd have thought he would have caved by now.
