I was looking for some good parts for a tune up? Where would I go that is in our area or close by? I also would like to know where the negative cable connects too? I'm having issues with a lose connection on that wire. Thanks for any help that you guys have.

hey Jake, good to see you around here!
nothing too new here, just trying to stay out of trouble and trying to figure out what mod is next for the car. (even though my bank account is still mad at me for the wheels/tires)

When do you guys meet
Hello all.
Long time no see.
I have been away for way too long. But at least I have gotten a few things done on the house. It is kinda nice having a floor instead of living on concrete. Another engine swap happened here too. And I have not even put 100 miles on my RX8 in the last 4 months. It sits under a car cover and goes to the grocery store a couple times a week. And we also added 5 more cars to the corral, with another one on the way, so I have been doing tons of work on many different cars.
So what is new with everyone else? (sorry, not reading through 50 pages I have missed out on recently)

Nice paint work Casey.
Steph has a 190mm HPI drift car painted like her full size MR2. The nitro truck will fit just about any body because the wheels stick out so damn far. (Yes, I use a nitro stadium truck as my on road drift car) I may need to take a couple of those mazda bodies off your hands.

Because a speed test is checking your Ping Rate, you need to have a good Ping to get an accurate test.
Distance from your location is not as important as finding a good server w/ good ping.
LA's server tends to be slower because of all the activity.
Try San Diego, San Fransico or Seattle
Check out my results. All done within minutes of each other. 6PM GMT is 11AM PST
Notice the Ping and the Distance.
Both #'s low for LA.
This is what I pay for. (20mbs/5mbs)
Seattle's a little slow on the Upload.

I just tried it at work and the results are embarassing.
My upload was faster then my download.

I dont have all the bodies anymore, I have sold quite a few, trashed a few... but I do still have some of them. many never run before.
a 200 mm body will fit on a 190 car, jsut be a little wide. wider wheels can be put on. (yup, jsut like a real cars wide body eeffect.
but a 190 body will not fit on a 200 car.
Its coo Jake, I used to have a RC10 (the original) that I turned into a "road car"... many years ago.
My works dl was 35, and up was ~20, I will try again later as it really should be higer then that... I would suspect something in the area of Cesars. (we have T3 here, and from the looks of it, so does Cesar.)

Ya, we had to buy the HPI 6mm offset wheels to fit the 200mm body on Stephs 190mm car. The truck needed 9mm offset to clear the suspension and hub parts.
Which bodies do you still have around that you would be willing to part with? Do I get a better deal if I buy a bunch of them?

they all just sit around now, so I might be willing to part with some that I was not willing to part with a couple years ago....
I do have a few unpainted bodies stil... I COULD always paint one up for ya.

tell Atilla to STOP scheduling stuff on the 2nd saturday of the month so we can bring some RX-8's back to this meet.
I haven't been in a while but I hear it's mostly the RX-7 guys right now.
